"Obama in the Democratic primary.
Obama is the left's new Lamont. While the far left of the party is madly in love with their new Lamont, they should take another look at the Lamont/Lieberman race in CT. The progressive far left could not stand the Democratic (in name only) senator Lieberman, so they decided to back Ned Lamont, and they were actually succesful in the primary. Unfortunately, pro-war Lieberman, ironically with the support of senator Obama, was able to trounce the far-left candidate Lamont in the general election.

2008, is not 2006. What are leiberman's ratings now? he won out of past built up respect from his state. I disagreed, but admirable from the state in 2006. What leiberman has proceded to do does need to be rehashed here.
Needless to say his only support now is with the pro-isral lobby and the neocons. He has zero democratic support now. Zero. He is a repubican now, like clinton. You could compare clitnon to lieberman. not obama.
His carrer is over after his current stint, like clitnon. As democrats that is. I'm sure the gop will take them under their wing, like they are doing now, and will turn gop. That is the only route clinton and leiberman have left.
no one's buying it gop, I mean clinton supporters. Ned lamont, ahhahahahahha
