You say: "I'm not against Hillary because she's a woman. I'm against Hillary because she's a transparent political hack who will say or do anything to get elected, and I think it's incredibly sad that so many of her supporters back her primarily because they share the same reproductive organs."
I say: "I'm not against Obama because he's a man. I'm against Obama because he's a transparent political hack who will say or do anything to get elected, and I think it's incredibly sad that so many of his supporters back him primarily because they share the same reproductive equipment."
So, does that sound any less transparent - coming from a woman, I mean?
Well, I don't support Obama because he and I both have a pair of balls. But I certainly respect the balls it took for him to deliver a speech on race, the electrified third rail of American politics. I'm even more impressed that he pulled it off and got people talking about it. It's a small step in the right direction, and Hillary hasn't done anything that comes anywhere near it in her very short and unimpressive political career.
