@ DeeperTruth -- Are you serious?
"I do not at all think Hillary was purposefully lying about Bosnia - her memory was exaggerated by all she has been through lately, and sleep deprivation."
That is possibly the lamest response I've ever heard.
Even though I must admit that whenever I've suffered from sleep deprivation, I immediately begin to recall being shot at during visits to foreign countries. Doesn't everybody?
Pah-leeze. You'd better stock up on that Klinton Kool Aid. Denver is a long time from now and Hillary will be kicking and screaming all the way there.
BTW, did you see the latest NBC/WSJ poll? Hillary Clinton is now sporting the lowest personal ratings of the campaign. Moreover, her 37 percent positive rating is the lowest the poll has recorded since March 2001.
In the end, your precious little viper will be the reason McCain breezes into the White House.

No, it's the truth - It's so sad how wrong you are
First of all, in terms of all the issues that are actually really important - this shows just how much the media and the Obama campaign and many of his supporters don't want to focus on issues that really matter.
All the candidates have said that they have been quite exhausted and sleep deprived. You can tell that she was tired when she was talking about it - she was just remembering her trip. These details are not truly important - and not what most people truly care about.
They've even done scientific research that proves how much sleep deprivation can affect and diminish your memory. Look it up and see for yourself.
And that NBC poll you are citing only asked 700 people in the US, and it didn't even say where they were. It was overseen by 2 men, it's not a Gallup or Rasmusen Poll.
Barack would never be able to beat McCain after the Republicans get through with him - he has lost many of the swing voters who were interested in him, and the Republican base will rally even more against him because of all the things Reverend Wright said.
The Republicans actually think Barack would be the much easier candidate to beat. They plan to portray him an "inexperienced anti-war tax and spend extreme liberal."
Some facts about Obama:
The Obama campaign’s response to the comprehensive plan Hillary laid out to address the housing crisis today was not to discuss their disagreement with her proposal but to assert that Hillary has received contributions from subprime loan companies.
Considering that Sen. Obama has received $1.18 million from subprime lenders and has taken more campaign contributions from the top ten issuers of subprime loans, that attack rings hollow as just words. Sen. Obama has a record of talking about standing up to special interests and then caving to their demands. Hillary has a 35-year record of standing up to special interests and delivering results.
Obama has taken $1,180,103 from the top issuers of subprime loans. [cq.com]

Obama received $9052 from Washington Mutual. [Cq.com]
Obama received $161,850 from Citigroup. [Cq.com]

Obama received $170,050 from Morgan Stanley. [Cq.com]
Obama received $1150 from Centex. [Cq.com]
Obama received $351,900 from Goldman Sachs. [Cq.com]
Sen. Obama has taken more money from the top 10 issuers of subprime loans than Hillary. Sen. Obama has received $434,420 from the top 10 issuers of subprime loans. Hillary has received $364,950. [Cq.com; USA Today]
You can be a 'hater' if you like, but you're wrong and misinformed - not to mention not walking any talk about hope or unity.
Democratic love ~

@ DeeperTruth -- Lots of luck working through your delusion.
I'm afraid you'll have to witness for yourself what Hillary does to destroy the party over the next three months. Only then will you see the world clearly again. Lots of luck with that. I've tried to help you, but to no avail. Cheers.

@Deeper Truth
I saw your remarkable research into the contributions of sub-prime lenders to the Obama campaign following his initiative against her. I thought it valuable in many ways. Bosnia was a gaff on her part, but of little consequence.
Having lost the "more electible" advantage a number of Obama supporters have resorted to the way his campaign is run as their evidence of his trustworthyness.
You basically zapped it in one swoop. Not only are his ideas mostly Clinton's but he's had to learn to fight like them too--or he'll be another Kerry. It's a tunnel with no cheese.
The problem is their intransigence and mounting hostility. I'm sure you've seen some of the latest trolls who've come to teach Salon a lesson.
I look forward to your entries in the months ahead. You live up to your moniker.

@ "virtue" 001
You are essentially saying that the Democracy is destroying the Democratic Party.
Democracy is the process where all of the people are supposed to be able to vote, and without even all the states votes counted so far - Hillary has almost half the vote.
Hillary is not destroying the party - if anything Barack is attempting to not let all Democrats speak or have their say. We are currently a party divided - her supporters want her to be they nominee - we do not want her to drop out - so stop blaming her. If you must blame - (even though it is unconstructive) blame the other half of the Democratic party.
Blame me personally for believing in Democracy.
Barack is not at all my first choice - he has had so little national experience - there is so much he does not know, and I do not respect the extremely hypocritical, duplicitous way he has run his campaign. It's a shame because I thought more of him initially, but he has demonstrated that his words are truly mostly just words - and he tries to have it both ways - saying he is against old politics - but then totally practicing them underhandedly.
Democracy is messy.
It will all get worked out - but both sides will work and fight for what they believe. And both sides have every right to.
