Clinton should already get these delegates, as she has won the people's choice in these states. I think Obama is just another wishy, washy politican along for whatever ride he can get.
I VOTE PRESENT on over 100 differant issues. What stand does he take? CHANGE! ( change what ) where is this guy comming from? Is he just the biggest and better lier. Is it not time he was looked into under the microscope like everyone else is, or does he get a free ride. I'll stick with Hillary who already knows the issues and how to deal with the other politicans. Not some jimoke who is affraid to decide on little but, important issues.
BOY! I think he has got alot of people fooled.
Joan Walsh,
I don't see any reason why there should be another vote. They are rigged anyway. Don't think that the public doesn't know or suspect this. I travel all over Florida and the only majority signs I saw that the people wanted for president was Ron Paul and a few Obama's.CNN and the other media moguls work for the Elite group who own everything (Rockefellers, Rothschilds)and I'm for one sick of them working the system to their greedy advantage. We don't need anymore President's in this country that would do their dirty work. Enough already!!
I can't believe the sweetheart press Hillary Clinton just got Monday and Tuesday. Obama nowhere to be seen unless it was a small negative tidbit. It looked like Hillary was the only one running. And just before the votes were cast too..some coincidence.
A little whining from Hillary seems to pack quite a punch with the press. Maybe the media should just announce the decision with out anyone going to to all the trouble to vote.
Based on yesterdays primaries, I would say that the question of whether Florida and Michigan should vote again will ultimately be answered by whether Hillary Clinton needs to shuffle the deck again..or not.
Many commenters have stated that a revote in Michigan and Florida would solve the problem created when the two states voted early. Michigan and Florida did not cause the problem, they illustrated the problem. How on earth is the New Hampshire/Iowa get to go first rule fair? That is what the people in Michigan want to know, and that is why they risked losing their delegates- to show what is wrong with the system.
Michigan and Florida could agree to a revote, but I think scrapping the current unfair system should be a precursor to that agreement.
America is facing a new recession. Maybe even another 1970. When Bill Clinton was president, our country prospered. We did not have these economic woes. Bush has turn this country into a oil mans' fantasy. The dollar is at a record low. This is driving gold and oil prices out the roof. People are losing their homes. We want a lawyer to be president? Come on. Florida and Michigan are full of Americans and they should be allowed to vote their minds. To not let them is like slapping them in the face. Obama is a big talker. He won't be able to do anything. He won't have the courage to send our troops in harms way. He will want to negotiate everything. Hes a good ole boy. But hes no where near ready to run a country. I hate to see so many people, so blinded by his speeches, they can't see what Hillary can and will do for the American people. She has Bill Clinton beside her. Just look how good we had it when he was president. It will be that way again. This fantasy speech maker Obama has to step aside. For the good of us all. We have to stay in Iraq. At least until their government can become strong. If we don't, we will be in a nuclear war in less than 2 years. Wake up America. Wheres your pride? What are you thinking? Invest in poultry.
Michigan and Florida should without a doubt get to vote again. I live in Michigan and really feel cheated that we are not represented in such a close race. I feel it should have been allowed early, but since it wasn't, it should be redone. We are all supposed to have a voice in this country and right now, we (Michigan & Florida) don't.
Joan,
There are only two reasonable and fair paths for the Democrats to travel. I know that Senator Clinton would like everyone to just let her cheat her way into the nomination by changing the rules after outcomes are known, but that can not happen.
The Party needs to;
1. Have new primaries or caucuaes in both states, then seat the delegates as they are designated by the voters.
2. The Party needs to finish what it began. Since the party choose to not count the votes of two states that broke the rules and scheduled their primaries independant of party approval, then the party needs to for this election state that the winner of the nomination will be the canidate, who wins the majority of deligates available for designation.
Just Good Math

I'm amazed at how many letter writers on this subject "get it." I live in Michigan (Kalamazoo), and I'm adamant that we should vote again, under pre-established rules. Before the January primary, the national Democratic party said our votes would not count toward seating delegates. As a result, some folks voted "uncommitted," or even for the least unacceptable Republican. But now, some folks think the delegates should be seated ... changing the rules after the contest. One big reason I'd like Michigan to re-vote is so the national media will talk about our economy. It's not good, but the state that FDR called the "arsenal of democracy" is just the canary in the coal mine; the rest of the nation's economy is right behind. And although I support Obama, it doesn't matter to me (much) whether he or Hillary win, as long as the contest as fair. Either candidate will need delegates from Florida and Michigan to win the nomination.
