Should Florida and Michigan vote again?

Sure it would be expensive, but the cost to the Democratic Party if superdelegates end up choosing the nominee would also be high.

The letters thread is now closed.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! These two places should vote again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not familiar with the issue, but I believe they should vote again. We need to break the barrier and for once to have a women as a president. We deserve that. She is a fighter and as a good fighter she will govern this country. All around the world had and still do have women leaders. Is United States different than Germany or England or Turkey or Pakistan to name few.

Hillary for President

NOT TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT.

I WOULD BE VERY INTERESTED IN THE TAX RETURNS THAT WERE PROMISED. WHY THE DELAY? WHY THE SKIRTING? AND I WILL REALLY BE SURPRISED IF PREVIOUS YEARS ARE EVENTUALLY DISCLOSED. A LOT OF US DON'T TRUST THE CLINTON MACHINE.

as soon as a black man ...........

First of all, everyone, all candidates gave their word that the delegates from florida and michigan would not be seated.....THEIR WORD!!!!

that means nothing to the clintons......

as soon as a black man fought for freedom in the revolutionary war............they passed laws deepening the chains of slavery

as soon as a black man began to escape from slavery with regularity.......they wanted to change the rules so that there were no free states.......

as soon as a black man helped win the civil war....they changed the rules so that reconstruction was abolished and jim crow was instituted....

as soon as the black man got the vote......they established state sponsored terrorism thru the white citizens councils to intimidate thru violence and poll taxes, literacy tests so that we could not exercise that right......

as soon as the black man fought to escape segregation and to regain civil rights.....they flooded our communities with drugs and guns.....and let them wither thru benign neglect and intentional malice

as soon as a black man chose education over crime, love of country over revolution.....rising to become the frontrunner of his party with a good chance of becoming president.........they change the rules again.........

see a pattern here?

@ RJforHRC

Actually, the DNC offered to pay for Florida to have their primary at a later date in order to avoid this mess. There was no fiscal reason for Florida Dems to insist on the January Primary.

The DNC did what it had to do in order to prevent a rush of states from having contests in January.

Hopefully it will be a moot point as lawmakers from both states are meeting to try to hash out a solution.

The sooner Michigan has a real contest, the sooner Obama can win it and take that Clinton talking point out of the debate.

revote what for?

are you only wanting a revote because you want Obama to win. you see I live in California with the idiot governor and I knew he was only hype and everyone fell for it now not only had he stole money from schools he also has now taken away sports from schools, where's the importance. I've learned to become selfish and worry for self. I'm not sure I can trust any candidate but I sure can expect free health insuranc from Clinton Murtock, hell they're always taxing us anyway, go green, recycle, bridge toll, hospital rebuild while closing homes to do so, and on and on and on.And still no results but keep passing the offering platemaybe the building fund'll kick in. I'm not saying Obama's useless I would love to finally see a black face as president for once outside of 24(the show)but once the smoke clears and 2years has passed is there change? and what's with Oprah's whole new religion bull her and Obama's talking about or were you paying attention,? again falling for the hype signed selfish.

Should Florida and Michigan vote again.

No they should not vote again and the delgates should be seated and apportioned as voted.

This mess is a result of the arrogant ruling of the DNC. In Michigan Hillary Clinton was the only candidate smart enough to leave her name on the ballot. However, voters could have written in the name of the choice rather than voting uncommitted. In Florida all names were on the ballot and she still won, therefore the delegates should be apportioned per the results.

Since Howard Dean and the DNC committee created this mess they should be big enough to say so and let the delegates be seated as they stand.

If Obama feels he was cheated he should have been smart enough to get his name on the ballot even though he couldn't campaign. Of fhe couldn't figure it out, it's just pne more reason he may not have the experience to be the nominee.

superdelegates

I'm not a democrat, however, I think the very idea that "superdelegates" can decide the nominee over the will of the electorate is appalling. Democrats should clean house and eliminate these political parasites.

Yes

I think Florida and Michigan should vote again however, I don't think the taxpayers should pay for this. That said, the Democratic party along with Florida and Michigan have made a real mess of this whole situation. The results as they stand now can't and won't be counted but if the party goes along with a do over then it makes them look like fools. They have got to come with a compromise that is somewhat fair to all involved.

Like some out there, I want this feud to continue. Why? It's made politics way more interesting. I mean there thousands maybe millions of people who are paying attention to the primaries for the first time. I like most normally go to the poll in November thinking which of the lesser evil should I vote for.

In the end there will be Democratic nominee but will there be enough money left to launch an effective campaign. Its seems the winner in the end just might be John McCain.
