Should Florida and Michigan vote again?

Sure it would be expensive, but the cost to the Democratic Party if superdelegates end up choosing the nominee would also be high.

The letters thread is now closed.

Again, you resort to aggressive language without providing any sort of argument. The tax returns will be released when she's the nominee. What's so difficult about that? What's so unethical about that? How is that part of a dirty campaign? The Republicans have tried for years to get dirt on the Clintons and they have failed. Providing some sort of logical, objective evidence for your negative posts might help you get your point across.

If she was clean, she'd release the forms

She hasn't released the forms.

She's hiding something, and you are gonna hear this every day.

We are gonna say TAX FORM as if it is her middle name.

HILLARY WHERE'S THE TAX FORMS CLINTON.

It ain't the crappy money source, it's the coverup.

Why is she covering up? Who did Bill get money from? Did he get it from Tony Rezko? How much from Norm Chu?

What are they hiding?

Seriously, it can't be that bad if she's comfortable releasing them after becoming the nominee. You act as if once she releases the forms we're going to find out she's getting money from Osama bin Laden or something.

It's just pathetic

"Again, you resort to aggressive language without providing any sort of argument."

Here's an argument; it's a

P1: People running for office without anything to hide release their tax forms.

P2: Some people have something to hide.

P3: If you release your tax forms, people learn embarrassing and sometimes criminal things about you.

Q: If they don't do the normal thing and release their tax forms, they have something to hide.

Hillary and Bill have made millions. They have a very long history of cultivating very shady friends who give them money in exchange for favors.

Who has Bill gotten money from? What favors have been promised?

@ lateagain

What constitutes calculating in a man? Iago? Really, how often do you ever hear of a man called calculating? All I basically did was call Slackie calculating. She basically recycles the same meme every time she mentions Hillary. Since she doesn't mind slingling the calculating label, she shouldn't mind getting some back. I calculate that when she uses the word calculate concerning Hillary that she is being calculating.

Example of a calculating man in this thread: KcM, cause he says we should do the math.

You can scold me, but the fact is that I have been biting my tongue where Slackie is concerned for months. Show me where I have ever before said a harsh word to her.

I do intend to rob Obama supporters of those sexist words which keep them from really looking at Hillary. Too many of them can't get past her war support, ignoring the fact that now there is little difference between her current plan to end the war and Obama's. Too many others have just bought the Dick Morris line on Hillary -- or worse, they believe all the stuff that flew around during the Starr investigation. I'll wager that right now that there is some fool reading this thread who thinks Hillary murdered Vince Foster.

I think Hillary wants something. Of course she does. She's calculating. Now you tell me how we are going to nominate one or the other or them without a Democratic psychological bloodbath without giving both of them something that they want. It won't happen. Compromises are not going to begin with the Hillary Haters foaming at the mouth. What if Hillary can't win but she wants a place on the ticket? What if Obama can't reach that delegate count but he wants a place on the ticket? It is all very well to come up with plans -- and I think yours is one of the better ones, but what we are overlooking here is that none of them are going to happen without acrimony unless both Clinton and Obama can feel appeased. It is silly to pretend that one is holding a royal flush and the other is holding two dueces. Both these players have cards they can play. Both of them have strong egos.

If they end up making a deal, we should breathe a sigh of relief and all of us should be glad to vote the ticket whoever is on it.

Unfair and unbalanced

The Clinton wacks spend months discussing whether Barack Obama got a beer from Rezko. They will simply not do the same for Hillary, even though she is much dirtier, and there is much more to be concerned about.

You see, Hillary and Bill are rich, rich, rich. Since Bill left the POTUS, they back big trucks up and dump money on Bill. She gave her campaign 5 million dollars, and that was from the "Mad Money" account. She has millions, possibly billions.

Where has this money come from? Who has paid Bill off? Just EXACTLY what will he be doing in the White House, repaying those favors? How will he pay back this money? What function does the money and bribes paid to him perform in the Clinton campaign?

This is not an idle inquiry. This is vital. We need to know what dirt, sleazy crap, and very shady deals are going on.

Of course, I could be wrong, and she could be Ceasar's wife - unlikely though.

Release the forms, Hillary, and shut me up!!

Thank you very much chhabili,

but the only thing I know how to organize is paragraphs.

this is the point, wright5579

*after* her nomination is too late for barack. and then, perhaps she calculates that democrats will vote for her even if she decides to change her mind or put new conditions or whatever. you have to realize that some of us really don't care about the clintons, either of them. we want barack in office - for myself it's the first time i really cared. why? his evident intelligence and his not insulting mine. his hopes for a better world and his inclusion of everyone who wishes that. so we care. it's evident that some of you really care about hillary, though perhaps any woman would do.

Wednesday, March 5, 2008 04:41 PM

wright5579 , you might want to ignore the guy waving the tax return.

That he thinks this is a substantive issue is not surprising. He once actually called Hillary supporters "Hillary nuns." That one was a new one on me. Apparently he thinks you cannot support Hillary and still manage to have sex.
