  • 2004 turnout

davedavis you're smokin' like Joe Frazier! Great point about 2004 turnout. Would like to add, the best thing I heard from Howard Dean was Jan/Feb timeframe of following year was Kerry campaign had X number of ground personnel in Ohio but they were NOT indigenous. Bush had X number (probably bit more) of ground personnel in Ohio that LIVED in Ohio. This reflects Democratic power base coastal bias.

Same holds true for this year. If indeed the economy has trumped the war as an issue, then perhaps Clinton has better chance - mitigated by heavy turn out to vote against her - in Ohio.
