All that matters is the delegates, not who won or who they are supposed to vote for
Our system is so jacked up and obfuscated, all that matters is sticking around after the vote and becoming a delegate. Like the General Election, the Primary is just a beauty contest. All that matters are the delegates and who they really support, not who they are cheering for.

The only good thing about Clinton winning
Would be the "joy" of getting to rub our neverending warmongering in the faces of the "antiwar" "party", oops, I mean what will become our "Happy Humanitarian Democracy Student Fun Missions Abroad" (the language will have to be Churched up so the blind and the ignorant don't perceive our neverending wars, conscription, and dictator fetishes as what they really are).

Electability argument in a vacuum
The electability argument is made repetitively in the context of one nominee against one nominee in the general election.
The fact is that there will be a VP candidate on the ticket which changes the electability factor tremendously. For people to forget this fact over and over just drives me batty because it is faulty analysis.
If its Hillary as the nominee, I bet it she will pick either Wesley Clark or Obama as VP.
Either way, the VP is usually picked up to offset any perceived weakness with the presidential nominee. This will be the case for Hillary, and the case for Obama.

It seems Hillary likes Reagan too.
On Hillary's website, Reagan is listed as one of her favorite Presidents.
Also -- Earth to Edwards -- If there ARE two Americas, Johnny boy, neither one of them wants to vote for you.

Nah, HRC and Obama won't settle for VP
but Jeffrey Toobin, author of "The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the US Supreme Court" theorized in an interview that a savvy President HRC would nominate Obama to the Supreme Court (with an eye towards naming him Chief Justice as soon as possible). Which would be a good use of Obama's intellect and talent, a great way to win points among progressives (a progressive CJ who is also a minority), and, pragmatically, keep him out of her hair for 1012. Plus, resisting his confirmation would be pretty impossible, assuming he doesn't have a huge skeleton in his closet (hardly likely).
Toobin was not so sanguine about President Obama naming HRC to a similar position, as confirming her would be ... more difficult.
Either way, I don't see either one of them allowing themselves to be second banana (as euphoric as such a ticket would make me). But, there are plenty of great contenders for the VP slot.

If The Truth Is Known, Be Honest
I found this story disturbing. To draw the readers into this story, the author made assertions he knew were in question and could not be found out until April 2008. That is why he spent the later part of of his story under an updated perspective. The whole delegate question could of been handled in one line: "Clinton wins Nevada under unsubstantiated claims Obama won more Nevada delegates."
The fact is Barack Obama lost, but to diminish Hillary Clinton's victory, the author introduced a possibility Clinton really did not win. This was cheap and a form of bad sportsmanship.

Did Obama win Neveda delegate count.
It doesn't matter if Barack Obama has one more delegate than Hillary since she won the voter count.
More important is the fact that all day today The Honorable Media continues to discount her and push for Barack even though he has done so little on the national and world arena.
His speeches are emotionally inspiring, but what else is there to have us elect him as our next President.
I am so tired of letter writers who spew their venom towards Hillary and send love arrows to Barack.

All News Reports: Obama DID Get Most Delegates From NV
It appears there is an update missing from this entry. It does not matter other than it is another example of how the Clintons are "spinning" so effectively that the facts are completely obliterated.

@JSStwrt
Wow. I wish HRC had half the powers her detractors claim she has, but your post takes the cake!
It's now HRC's fault that Joan Walsh hasn't updated her opinion? That's Girl Power.
And, as a note to all who won't let go of the MLK/LBJ comments, Bill Clinton attended a memorial service/celebration side by side with the King family, and was an invited speaker to the event. He even joked about how the officiant put him in his place regarding Obama, and the congregation cheered and applauded. Everyone else has gotten over it. Everyone else has moved on. Let's do as well.

Obama campaign playing race/victim card to villify Bill Clinton and neutralize him.
Obama, the mainstream media darling of 08, has been getting a free pass on sneaky efforts to attack Hillary through Bill by insinuating they are racist. Nevada was no exception, especially with Latinos. And that "man of ideas" Regan commentary Obama made was over the top. Yet again, the same press that supported Bush and ignored his evil agendas, attacks Bill Clinton for reacting to a cheap shot. And Obama gets lots of free media time to boot. AND gets to play the victim card. People, face it. The same press that hounded both Clintons from the beginning, is again, a powerful voice trying to destroy them. The only thing that has reined them in a little is the women all over the country who are reacting against media bias/misogyny, especially on MSNBC. They are now attacking Bill to get at Hillary. Every woman in this country ought to be supporting Bill for reciprocating past unconditional love and loyalty exhibited by Hillary instead of believing the current corporate media's obvious attempts to sabotage the Clintons. Would Bill Clinton like to be the "first man?" Hell, yes. And I don't hold it against him. But that doesn't alter the facts of his successful presidency,or the current media bias for Obama which ignores veiled attacks by the Obama campaign that go unchallenged. If someone thinks criticizing Obama makes a person a racist, then they should look up the definition in a Black history book. Racism is about power. Who has it, and who doesn't. Obama has the power of the press on his side. The Clinons never have. Hmmmm.
