The Bhutto test
It's tacky to use tragedy for political gain, but it's fair to examine how both parties' presidential candidates responded to Benazir Bhutto's assassination. Fair, and pretty depressing.

  • Misleading on purpose?

    Come on Joan! you are an intelligent, educated person, who can definitely understand what Axelrod meant to say. Why do you have to spin it in the wrong way? Of course the war in Iraq distracted the US from the war in Afghanistan and definitely that has caused much of the unrest in the region, including Pakistan. So, that war has caused, unfortunately, Bhutto's death. so, there you have it, that's all. and yes, HRC voted for that war, but stretching it to the point of saying that she is responsible for Bhutto's death is just ridiculous! it definitely looks like some kind of logic from FOX news.
