The Des Moines Register backs Clinton while the Boston Globe goes for Obama, but both papers endorse the former maverick from Arizona. Plus: Lieberman backs McCain, too.
  • McCain's Campaign Is Moribund, Find The Future Elsewhere

Senator Lieberman's endorsement is the kiss of death for McCain. Few Americans want to elect a George Bush lapdog so they can have four more years of tyranny, oppression, and violence, trashing what little reputation our country may still have as a beacon of liberty and justice under the law.

Now the good news: Ron Paul's supporters have donated just today over 4 million dollars to his campaign, possibly breaking his previous fund raising effort on November 5. Currently he is 33% over his $12 million 4th quarter goal at $16+ million. An increasing portion of the American people are waking up to the damage the neocons have done to our country and are willing to invest in real change.

We need responsible and frugal government, peace, justice, liberty, and security. A McCain presidency would be a continuance of the travesties this country has endured under the Bush/Cheney cabal. If a neocon toady like Lieberman wants to endorse McCain, all that shows is his pigheaded support of a colossally failed approach to domestic and foreign policies.
