Profiles in Democratic cowardice
With Americans dying in Iraq, 22 Democratic senators joined Republicans to denounce MoveOn, and Barack Obama failed to vote. Does this party want to win the White House next year?

  • Obama is right

    I completely agree with cbaker96. Yesterday morning, when I heard the Senate was going to vote to condemn the MoveOn ad, I thought how great it would be if senators simply didn't vote on such a meaningless issue. And I was pleasantly surprised to later learn that Obama didn't vote for that very reason. It is time to treat these meaningless votes as meaningless votes instead of getting sucked into a peripheral debate.
