Hardball? Hardly.
I am bitterly disappointed in Chris Matthews and MSNBC for providing a platform for Ann Coulter. After listening to Elizabeth Edwards' calm invitation to Ms. Coulter to raise the level of political discourse, I am disappointed in my fellow voters for not recognizing that both John and Elizabeth Edwards are fine people. They certainly deserve better than the snide jokes about his hair, their home. We've not heard one word about his comprehensive health care plan or anything else substantive from the media. Just the usual bread and circuses.
