Sarah Palin in three words

1. Ignorant

2. Dishonest

3. Demagogue

That Ms. Paglia finds those traits praiseworthy say more about Paglia than Palin.

this is a women that gets it

this women is by far the best thing on salon. there is an objectivity in her thought that is so refreashing in this day and age where everyone thinks they must tow the party line and political correctness is rampant. she truely sees how self rightousness on the left is no better then self rightousness by fundamental christians. she sees that the enemy is those that want to attack you for how you think. i love this women.

Great, flasher3838

Well, then, Camille can use her strap-on on you, and you'll love it.

huffpo liberals

camille is so much smarter then the huffpo style "smug" liberals that post on here. she understands that the left has become a mirror image of the christian right with their attacks on everyone that does not tow their dogmatic line. she understands that the left has become what they hated, fundamentalist, christian, bush republicans.

More Formulaic Outrageousness

Seriously, is there a color by numbers somewhere that Camille follows? More boring trolling, nothing to see here folks.

THE ANAGRAM FOR SARAH PALIN

OK Folks – Hear is some Sarah Palin ammunition.

I just did the anagram for “Sarah Palin” and it came up “La Piranhas”

NO WONDER THE LIBERALS ARE AFRAID OF HER.

AND LOOK AT WHAT SHE DID TO THE LAME DUCK

Can Paglia ever come back?

Excuse me if someone else has already used this line.

I just keeping hoping for a big NO.

As other people have written, who gave you these letters? Starting off with "Good question" already made me sick. Camille, I loved you once when you used to be brilliant, but you need to retire now.

You've become irrelevant.

Tee hee hee

Paglia's articles in Salon are like salt poured on you liberal slugs. You squirm, writhe and protest but that's all you can do. About the only thing you can refute is that Palin beat Biden in the debate, and even that's a matter of perception.

It's pretty apparent to the normal part of the country that the concerted hit job on Palin by the likes of Fey, Dowd, Letterman, et al only make the left look like the haters and further expose the historical media as your thought control home base.

In the end, I predict that Palin will have her revenge on you collective scumbags. You've managed to turn public opinion, however shorterm, against a noble and potent symbol of American feminine royalty.

After a year or two has past since she left the national stage, Americans will rethink the way that they unfairly characterized her in the past, and who exactly told them to think it. After all, she never did anything nearly as nefarious as Ted Kennedy or Obama have done and yet she somehow was portrayed as evil incarnate.

Give it time my liberal enemies. Like the nerdy kid who really was trying to do his best in high school yet was continually picked apart by the popular crowd for the tiniest nerdy infraction. Later in life those bullies rethink their bullying (the left) as well as the witnesses to the bullying (the american public). Then Sarah will have her revenge on you.

@flasher3838

Not that you're likely to accept the truth of this, and it's something Camille conveniently ignores, but among Palin's most vocal critics are Republicans and conservative media.

During the campaign some of Palin's harshest criticisms came from the likes of Peggy Noonan, David Brooks and Kathleen Parker.

Since her bizarre resignation announcement, her harshest critics include Fred Barnes, Charles Krauthammer, and Karl Rove.

But if it helps you and Camille to blame the so-called liberal media, which according to Paglia is confined to the northeast, so be it.

this is your brain on drugs (koolaid)

Ah, the letters of the angry intolerant left. How appropriate that the first comment uses the C word. And none of the subsequent ranters object. Thankfully I don't spend much time any more reading this type of backwash, but it is good to be occasionally reminded of how goofy supposedly educated people can be.

I knew I'd find the old chestnut in the posts arguing that the double standard of the media is based on "hypocracy". So tiresome.

And for those who call for Paglia to be dumped: Walsh sticks with Camille b/c Paglia brings more hits to this site than the rest of the crew put together (probably by a factor of 10 or more). Walsh likes her job and wants to keep it.

Thanks libnuts

I come here to read the letters and remind myself why I hate smug libtards. You have to recruit the pathetic urbanites, women who get their information from Oprah/The View , and young kids who haven't escaped their indoctrination to win elections.

Why would you need that ignorant base if your ideas were sound?

Now tell me I'm racist and your urbanites are highly intelligent. Ah, yeah.

"Oprah, what do we read? What do we watch? Tell us please." LOL

All your lib states are broke and I am loving it. How about that huge Dem rally in LA, complete with a gold coffin? Yep, all Dems you can be proud of. What a bunch of mutants.

Biden's clock

I distinctly checked Biden's clock after the Vice Presidential Candidates Debate, and it was still really dusty. If that was a clock cleaning, Biden deserves his money back.

Wednesday, July 8, 2009 06:25 AM

Thank you, letter writers

I never read Gaglia's column anymore, why puke before I even have a cup of coffee? I go straight to the letters, where the thin tissue of her column is ripped to pieces like the toilet paper it is. Thank you letter writers! You put a smile on my face at the start of the day.

Wednesday, July 8, 2009 06:27 AM

Get real

This article is far from reality. Palin did not clean Biden's clock--he won the debate according to most polls. Paglia is as out of touch as Palin--let's hope they both go away SOON.

Right wingnut trolls

If you can't stand progressives, then don't visit a progressive site. How do you think I feel, having to read your shit day after day? You are all a bunch of overweight, middle-aged, impotent, underachieving white male losers. You couldn't get it up even for Sarah Palin, but you sure think you can...or at least talk like you can. Typical. Talk shit, but when it comes down to it, limp limp limp.

If you don't like the tone of the letters or site, go elsewhere. No one is forcing you to be here.
