Mieow!!!...
...still sharpening those claws against feminists, Camille. Poor baby, still sore over the fact that they don't take you seriously. Boo Hoo! Wah!!!
-
Camille is not...
Not now nor has she ever been a feminist. She's a classic Queen Bee of the old 70s version. God forbid any women but La Camille do anything. Talk about a bitter woman....second only to Maureen Dowd. And not even as interesting a writer.

2nd graph is global context of Clinton's style of campaign
Bulletin to all nations: help! Tornadoes, typhoons and earthquakes batter the globe, while the U.S. is teetering into recession and paralyzed by a stupid war it can neither win nor quit. But somehow we are locked at the hip to Hillary Clinton, who won't stop her manic tarantella until her party whirls into ruins, like the run-amuck carousel in Alfred Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train."
And contains the word "tarantella." What else ya want?

Ghost of Vince Foster
Foster is just the tip of the iceberg as you correctly note. I just couldn't stand the idea of four more years of Bill's Hot Springs Arkansas Traveling Medicine Show, starring Hillary as the front, er, man. And Bill camped out in the Lincoln bedroom strewn with pizza boxes and empty budweiser cans interviewing intern candidates...

Sometimes, Paglia reminds me of Michael Savage
Not so much the content, but the force of their spirit and the sudden leaps into some kind of a semi-organized stream of consciousness.
One should interview the other, it would be an show I would be very curious to watch.

ED-209er
The thought of Camille going all RoboCop on Terry McAuliffe's Republican Lite ass is damn funny...
-
Paglia's Right-On about Steinem
Paglia was right to go after Steinem, though. Steinem went on and on about how sexism is much more a problem in the US than racism - and now Hillary sweeps West Virginia after claiming that many working class whites will never vote for a black man - which sorta means Steinem was wrong.
How many white female governors are there? White female senators? Now contrast that with how many black governors or senators there are, both male and female.
Paglia's got Hill's number. And it ain't pretty.
-
God, I hope she does. She's obviously the only electable one.
I hope she doesn't cave in to keep the radical old hags, black panthers and lefty-lefts happy.
I don't think they're going to pay anybody's bills that's out of work, after all.
-
Camille, I'm sorry that you didn't
go off on Terry McAuliffe. Social space be dammed. Politeness be damned. No words are needed .......just some creative silent miming would have worked quite fine........or pull out that trusty pocket kazoo and give him the full blast of razz. You'd have to be willing to make a bit of a fool of yourself, but it feels really really good......

This is entertainment
Geesch----
Don't you folks read Cary Tennis, too? Camille Paglia is entertainment, not information. And she is entertaining, wheather you like her or not.
Relax. Enjoy.

why hillary won't quit
The wife of the former impeached president won't quit because if she does, she has no life, no real family, no home to go to. She's one of those people who don't want the meeting to end. How pathetic is that? She'll be alone again with her life's dream snatched away because it's wasn't hers to begin with. Just because I want a million bucks, nobody is going to give it to me either. Suck it up hillary, just like you tell the poor wimps who vote for you hoping that your stale promises will make their lives better.
The clinton's strongarm tactics no longer work on the dem party which she can't accept. As for her surrogates, Carville, Begella, Lanny Davis, they're whining because their cash cow is drying up. They see the clintons only as a way to line their pockets. The clintons stupidly mistake it for support. They've been laughing all the way to the bank for years and they are made because it's about to end. Carville/Matlin are a perfect example of it.
Ms. Paglia is right..Barack has been forced to campaign with one hand tied behind his back because he can't drag out the clinton dirty scandals and filthy baggage. The Republicans won't be so kind. Carville claims the media is in the tank for Obama...ha! They've given mrs. clinton a free pass on her scandals. She has NOT been vetted. Imagine a moving van driving up to the White House and the clintons moving back in. What will you do? Vote for anyone but hillary before it's too late! Snap out of it America. You deserve better! Where's Monica Lewinsky when we need her?

credentials?
CP is always a pleasure to read. Her writing is unpretentious and she says what she thinks. She doesn't have a "position" that she has to defend. She is comfortable enough with herself to be able to express violent urges toward political hacks like McCauliffe. Derranged?? No, just refreshingly non-PC.
Her take on Hillary is indisputable.
-
Hillary is Not Vetted and Not Presidential
Camille is correct. That "Iron my shirt" skit in NH was obviously staged. The teardrop in New Hampshire now looks staged as well.
Can we add up these events? Her "working whites" comment in West Virginia was a pander to her 95% white audience. Her re-telling of the sniper fire incident in Bosnia that never happened was another lie. Her "I am fully vetted" comment flies in the face of the May 2008 NY Times editorial titled 'Missing Records' asking the Clintons and McCain to come clean. Her pander to voters on an 18 cent summer gas tax placed her in McCain's neighborhood again. Her vote in favor of the Iraq War Authorization without even reading the 2002 NIE puts her again in McCain's class. Odd but both the Clintons and the McCains are very rich and not forthcoming with their financial information.
Barack Obama bests both Hillary Clinton and John McCain on not pandering, truthfulness, financial disclosure and Iraq War foresight. Barack is 14 years younger than Hillary and 25 years younger than McCain.
I say this to emphasize that the ability to inspire is still alive in Barack Obama.

You people...
@Flute: Right on.
@all of you Camille haters:
Pot. Kettle. Black. All of you.
XOXO

Guy Groupie
Ever since Camille bragged about smoking cigars with Rush Limbaugh her credibility as a sane commentator on American culture has been in grave doubt.
Accusing the Clintons of being responsible for the bombing of the Federal Office Building in Oklahoma City achieves an astounding new standard in the free associating hate crusade she parades as intellectual discourse. The pathological account of her repressed temper tantrum while passing Terry McAuliffe in the train station (which comes from nowhere and goes nowhere) is particularly bizarre.
Perhaps she is one step closer to endearing herself to the academic alpha males of the new and upcoming 'Crashing the Gate' Democratic establishment that will be swept into office with the Obama cult. I can almost smell the cigars.
