  • Such as....?

Can you lay off the troll act and answer the question already. I'm not on meds and I'm not immature. Sure when it's past obvious I can't have a civil, intelligent conversation with someone like "manos" and "madam fanterly" I may occasionally cave in and annoy them. So what? YOU never even try to resist. But you're not as effective in my opinion. Because you patently cross the line. Whereas I just walk right up to it and dance there for a moment or two. Much more fun actually.

The support my entire extended family has for Obama is dependent on nothing other than what the man has said and done.

Like WHAT????? Please don't cite me that pap about traffic violations others have. You have a man promising to CHANGE THE WORLD who has offered for all practical purposes no details at all about how he will do so in the context of all political reality. And has no history of doing anything to make a dent in the REAL problems of people's lives.

My mother used to say that a goal without a plan and a time-frame is a dream. How right she was.

We're not media dupes. We're not sexist pigs.

I didn't say you were any of those things, for Godsakes. I said that to people who aren't AA, his anti-war posturing were the roses he threw at your feet. Do you deny this?

That would be a tough one for my wife, mother, two daughters, three aunts, et al. Jeez. Grow up. Look at the numbers.

    I have. That's the problem.

The approach to Florida and Michigan tells me all I need to know about Hillary's ethics. Utter bulspitzer.

I know this is inconvenient for you but he actually ADVERTISED in Florida. Which is something HE wasn't supposed to do. She didn't. Both names were on the ballot. She won handily because she's more popular with elderly voters, even including elderly black voters there seems to be some evidence ot support. Maybe they've seen and heard it all and want someone they think can deliver.

He also elected to take his name of the Michigan ballot by his own free choice. He didn't have to.

Add to that the entire mess is the fault of that buck-toothed moron, Howard Dean, neither of the two candidates in reference actually. I told people he was a disaster and not to support him as DNC lead and I was right.

And if you want to talk about fairness, how is a caucus skewed to people who can take a day off to do it (or who don't work) fair and democratic?

Anyway, all of this is academic because we're toast in November.

  • Thank you

I find that I don't often agree with you, Ms. Paglia, though I appreciate you. And the more I hear you speak about your thought perspective and analysis, the less the number of points on which I disagree.

This piece reflected my sensibilities perfectly and I thank you for getting it out there.

The whole idea that the Clinton campaign is putting out there - that Obama is nothing but a speech - when he has an impressive CV of accomplishments is to me reprehensible. That Clinton can be on national television in a debate and blatantly asking people to vote for her because electing a woman would be making history is deplorable. But then to constantly elude to or use surrogates to insist that Obama's race is the key vote getting factor in his candidacy is simply absurdly pathetic. A huge setback for equality feminism. I now cringe every day when I read the news.

May we simply see Obama get the nomination and watch Clinton(s) fade away. The sooner that she and Ferraro and other victim-based "feminists" move off into the sunset, the sooner the sun can rise on the equality era.

  • An impressive list of accomplishments that nobody can find

The whole idea that the Clinton campaign is putting out there - that Obama is nothing but a speech - when he has an impressive CV of accomplishments

Certainly not his constituents anyway. Now really, are you thinking that citing his record of getting some traffic laws changed is going to stand up next to a man who has served on the Senate Armed Forces Intelligence Committee for 30 years?

Get real. They won't. This isn't Xanadu; it's the 21st century in America.

  • Mondo Bizzaro it's Frantic Ferraro

Ferraro really put her fossilized foot in her mouth - it appears that her fifteen minutes of recycled fame on loan from her lost 1984 ticket to the top are up. I'm not sure what her juicey gender argument was, or what the merits, or lack there of were, but she sure didn't argue them very effectively or eloquently. Now she is almost certainly assured a hallowed place in the hall of fame of Hillary's many mentally unhinged political hacks.

  • Enjoy your race-baiting while you can, dewd

Now she is almost certainly assured a hallowed place in the hall of fame of Hillary's many mentally unhinged political hacks.

Because it's certainly going to bite you (and all of us) on the butt in November.

  • more bullschitzer

Obama's florida ads were on national cable channels and not targeted at the state at all. Know of a way of deleting cable content by state? Of course not. Hillary was the only name on the ballot in Michigan. all the other candidates had the sense of fairness to have their names removed. And she wants the delegates seated, and counted, based on those bogus erection results. That is so patently anti-democratic it makes Ferraro's tired tirades sound almost reasonable. The Clinton campaign assumed victory; they have proceeded to squander her double digit national leads, and are now firmly, and probably irretrievably, entrenched in a clear, solid second place. Out of two. Or last, if you'd prefer. If you want to insult an entire family, some former republikans, some independents, and some Democrats, in several states, that all support Obama, get out a lubricant of your choice and knock yourself out. We read books. We peruse website. We know some history. For the umpteenth time, we'll all vote Democratic in the fall, come what may. but no funds will be forthcoming for a woman who has comported herself as she has, and has done the wink and nudge when one of her surrogates- notably her husband, who ought to know better- goes off the reservation. Her Platte River resume doesn't impress any of us. foreign policy experience is not travel. She was duped into the Iraq vote that you all find so terribly inconvenient; that she was not alone among "Democrats" like Joe "the senator from Tel Aviv" Lieberthing doesn't get her off the hook. She wants her vote back. Cry my a river. Tell that to the two million Iraqi refugees, or the half million dead Iraqis, or the 4000 dead Americans, or the 40+ thousand maimed Americans. She was complicit. You can rewrite history, but you usually have to wait a generation or so. Live people with memories won't buy that bag of ripe bullspitzer. kisses, tommy
