  • What's Good for the Goose is Good for the Gander

"Surely tactical voting across party lines is a form of tampering, a debasement of the ballot that will inevitably weaken the democratic process and the prestige of American institutions."

Rush merely took a page out of the Democrats' book -- they came up with this tactic several election cycles ago and have been doing it ever since.

But Democrats simply hate it when Republicans emulate them!

  • Only asses have this attitude

that just because you have a certain belief system there is no value in listening to what others with different belief systems have to say.

This trashing of Limbaugh is a perfect example.

Only shows how utterly feeble minded the raging protestors are that they cannot tolerate alternate viewpoints.

  • Hitlary Clinkton

Hillary has a problem. She is disliked.

Many, here and elsewhere, see her as a fighter and admire that.

Tell me, please, which recent president with the personality of a fighter did well?

For that matter, which candidate for the presidency, running as a fighter, won?

    I can't think of one.

Fact is, fighters thrive on fighting. We have them in our family, we work with them, we see them on Jerry Springer.

We do not, by and large, vote for them.

Hillary Clinton is only in this race because people ASSUME that she is similar to her husband, who is a hack now but once was a great, unifying president.

Hillary, as a fighter, will lose the primary race... but even if she won, would lose the General Election, because we all know, deep down, that she won't get jack crack done. She is not Bill.

Bill was liked, loved, followed. Hillary, at best, is respected... and then only by those blind to the fact that she is a shrill, rich witch.

  • A Conspiracy of Old Women: Geraldine Ferraro and Identity Envy

We know that old women are Clinton’s demographic.

The question is whether we want them ruling the country.

I think that’s the deeper subtext of the recent stupidity of Geraldine Ferraro: it’s not so much racism and as competing identity politics: victim-status-envy. Old women who are so close to vindication they can taste it, flush with scorned entitlement as they feel their chances slipping away. It’s no accident that Clinton’s campaign has also exploited tensions between blacks and Latinos.

The real meaning of Ferraro’s comment: why isn’t Clinton going to win because she’s a woman? The significance of age here is their direct acquaintance with the past and the compromised place of both women and blacks, the coming of age in a period of transition for both groups. One revolution gets pitted against the other, as if envious siblings were competing for the attention of neglectful parents. Perhaps that envy has undergone an atavistic decomposition into the prevalent racism of those times.

Obama is where he is because he’s tapping into a desire for decency. Clinton is where she is because in the entitlement of her and her followers, they are simply unaware of their own haggery: fair is foul, and foul is fair.

    Poor Graymalkins!

What I’m really trying to say is that Geraldine Ferraro would not be in the trouble she’s in if she weren’t an old woman.

  • Rush's wet dream

This whole election is a wet dream for Rush. Look, the guy gets paid to do the easiest job in the world, make fun of liberals. It's like a sex addict getting paid to do porn, a drunk getting paid to drink, or a coke head getting paid to snort....and paid well.

The only thing this fiasco is missing is barney frank and Al Gore. That would be the ultimate dream...a feminist, a black and a queen, the three biggest self-victimization groups, plus a self-aggrandizing wack job like Gore, all running for the highest office in the land and pretending to care about everybody.

What we've seen so far ain't nothing yet, guaranteed. Just look at the ruckus over the Monster comment and Ferraro's comments. There is 6 month's of this coming and it will be a joy to watch.

I love it... the Spitzer incident is a tragedy, yet it wasn't for Craig, Foley, Vitter, et al. As an atheist I say God bless the Dems and the dinosaur media!!!!

  • hillary's race against time

Thank you Governor Spitzer for reminding us why we don't need the immoral Clinton's back in the White House. It's said Bill Clinton has a"'sexual addiction." Has he been treated and can we be assured he won't relapse in the Oval Office? Heaven knows, at 3 a.m. he's be tired and oh, so lonely, what with Hillary downstairs ready to pounce on the red phone.

No, better that these two snakes slither back to wherever they came from. Better that we look for honest, character, morality, truthfulness, and likeability in our leaders.

At the funeral of former President Gerald Ford, he left orders for the former impeached president NOT be allowed to speak. Why? Because, as Ford said, "there are standards." The Clintons have violated every standard of decency known to man.

The real pity is, it's not shame on them, it's shame on us for continuing to keep them in power. They are a product of our making. The only thing that will change the Clinton behavior is if we change ours. We look in a mirror and see ourselves in them. This is the secret of their success and they've tapped into it brilliantly.

Mrs. Clinton rode into town on her husband's sullied coattails. Now, by suggesting that she be on the ticket with Barack Obama, she's trying to put her claws into his coattails. Pretty slick!

  • Picking at Hillary

You said Hillary's appearance in "cheap entertainment riffs ("The Sopranos," "Saturday Night Live") has been depressingly unpresidential."

Wow, are you out of touch. I guess you live in an ivory tower with no TV or internet, only word from the outside world from a few gal pals and your collection of 1930's lesbian porn.

"All that canned "softening" of Hillary's image would have been unnecessary had she had greater personal resources to begin with."

Have you met the woman? How can you speak about her personal resources? Admit it, you simply are jealous of and hate her. Nothing she could possibly say or do could please you. You are not a good person to judge her character. You sould be attacking McCain. He is the yuck we need to be scraping off the shoe of our nation.

You simple-mindedly pick apart the 3:00 AM ad, whining that she and the mother are shown dressed. This shows that there is more wrong with you than with Hillary.

Then you rant against other women raising the issue of sexism. Must be comfy in that ivory tower of yours.
