It must be extremely unnerving to the typical Salon reader to read anything that challenges the opinions they’ve spent so much time cultivating in the echo chambers of the internet!
I love these pieces, even though I don’t agree with many of her opinions. She’s exactly what Salon needs – a truly independent thinker. Further, I expect that the amount of traffic she generates will keep Ms Paglia employed at Salon, despite how many letter writers seem to be terrified of original thought!
