Blame our financial woes on poor spellers, like the intellectual charity case in the White House.
  • Potluck prejudice

"We used to have a potluck culture in Minnesota -- the sharing of food as a way of life, you do your best for me, I do my best for you. But it easily breaks down: If some folks bring homemade pies and others bring a gallon of factory-made potato salad, forget it, the potluck is over."

I was invited to participate in the potluck once. I can't/won't cook but I was helpful when it came time to set up and then clean up. I also picked up some sushi from a very reputable restaurant. But no one could dare eat RAW FISH!! But these people didn't consider that this fish is undoubtedly much more sanitary than their foods made in the private no Sanitation Permit or Health Inspection required kitchens.

They are podunk hicks that can't see the big picture. Which is why they get factory made potato salad at the next potluck.
