Contrary to what you would have us believe, people who criticize Israel's war crimes are not "anti-West, lefty wacko, and neo-Nazi".
These people include Desmund Tutu, Daniel Barenboim, the International Red Cross, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and many more.
When a hundred thousand bloodthirsty nazi terrorist lovers march in the streets of Europe screaming for the heads of all Jews, that's just democracy in action.
The whole point of the Israeli BACKLASH against Hamas and the refugees in Sabra & Shatilla (sp?) is that the Koran-thumping Islamists are so cowardly that they have to hide mixed in with the population (including women & children) and they are supported by their families (including morally and religiously supported) . Yes, it is a crying shame that extremist Muslims hide behind women and children, but this is the way they would have it. SURE, that doesn't mean it will FEEL GOOD when they get blasted, and they are going to bitch and moan when they get hurt --- but it is NO SECRET that Arabs, Muslims, Islamists, Palestineans and all those ISLAMISTS around the world -- place VERY LITTLE value on human life, AS OPPOSED to Israel. The blood of an Israeli child is worth more because Israelis and Jews alike around the world place a higher value on human life than any Islamist -- moderate or extreme -- ever would. Simply because he has been raised on the beliefs of Mohammed.
Think about it -- the crimes against other Muslims even, their Sharia law, the suicide bombings -- this is all about Islam, not Israel. The Muslims (including the moderates who say nothing because they know what they are taught) fight for a Caliphate / their idea of "peace" only when Islam rules the WORLD, but Israel is fighting to exist. There is no other Jewish "nation". There are plenty (and growing more daily with all of their jihad across the world -- Thailand, Philippines, Somalia, Sudan -- they already took Egypt, Afghanistan and Indonesia, and even Iran, in addition to others) of nations that are inhabited by Muslims.
Their Koran teaches them to conquer and defeat and keep the land, loot and women for themselves. They think they have a right to it because Mohammed said so. Remember, Allah's word cannot be changed.
The whole pathological tenor of your post makes me wonder if I am just spitting in the wind in trying to address it. But, let me make one point. If we are talking about bloodthirsty "holy books" you really can't beat the Old Testament for blood,gore and conquering zeal. Throughout it Jehovah commanded His "people" to invade the lands of others and wipe out the inhabitants down to the last woman and child (in one case even the livestock were included). So, where is that basic respect for the "value of human life?" Not very evident. So I should make judgements about the Israelis based on their holy book? If I did that I would be forced to believe that they feel they have the right to wipe out the Palestinians down to the last woman child because Jehovah commanded them to take over as much of that area as they could way back when.
What BS! The war in Gaza has to do with Israel inflicting maximum damage on the Palestinian civilian population to apply pressure and as a form of collective punishment for having elected Hamas. Note that this war comes after a ceasefire - which largely held - but was violated by Israel. Israel kept 1.5 million people locked up, with no medicine and little food, in the open air concentration camp of Gaza for 2 years. For you to try to turn this into the clash of civilizations that Zionists and neocons are so fond of is utterly disgusting.
Let's say for the sake of argument that Gaza eventually is cut loose and gets to declare itself the nation of Gaza. And they are given free and open access to the Mediterranean, they negotiate whatever treaty they can with Egypt for that 9 mile border. Simultaneously they establish a timeline with Israel to set the date whereby Israel no longer provides 80% of their electricity for free, and all the other infrastructure services. That is, the Gazans have to do that themselves. And the border with Israel, that is, a completely different nation is locked down much as it is today allowing trade to go back and forth but people can only travel with the appropriate documentation and permission.
Basically the way all the other countries in the world operate. So let's say that's what happens, in oh 10 years. And let's say that the pace of rocket attacks, approximately a thousand a year every year for 10 years, persists. And they get bigger and more accurate, given an increasing percentage of them today are military grade Chinese and Iranian manufactured MRLS type rockets.
Your suggestion of any Israeli action would be.............?

Rocky, that's simply not true. I've been at a number of religious dinners, both Jewish and Islamic, and both Jews and Muslims were at both. Eating in friendship.
Because of dietary laws, you'll often see Jewish and Islamic people waiting at Kosher supermarkets (halāl markets are rarer).
Saying all Muslims hate all Jews because of a small number of religious extremists is wrong.

The combined total on salon.com for any of these phrases is 47 hits in Google (not including your post, which should show up soon). Most are pre-2009, dating back to 1999, and virtually all of them are from pro-Israel posters who are complaining that critics of Israel say these things. I don't have the time or interest to analyze this in more detail, perhaps someone else may want to do that, but skimming through them I didn't see a single hit from a critic who wasn't an obvious childish troll. This kind of slander doesn't really help your viewpoint.

Slander requires something be untrue, and the phrases I posted have all been in threads regarding Israel this year.
