Not agreeing with Israeli policy does not demonstrate that one is a Jew hater.
I disagree with some Israeli policy. That has little to do with Jew Hating.
Most of the people who state they are just disagreeing with Israeli policy are only doing so because Israel is Jewish. That is Jew hating.
If you hold Israel to some standard that you don't hold other countries, then you are engaged in Jew Hating. Your (not saying you specifically) actions are driven by Jew Hating, not policy disagreements.

Israel, as a country, has never "insisted" on that, even though that was clearly been the goal of much of the Israeli-right and Israeli-right leaders (including Israel founding-era terrorist Menachem Begin - who was Israel's PM during the '82 Lebanon War).
A large enough segment of Israeli society did not want a two State solution, that such an outcome was not possible.
Now, a exceedingly large part of Israeli society, and Palestinian as well, support a two State solution.
[Cut out the part that really doesn't address anything. I understand there are still a minority of people on either side that see this in purely religious terms]

Possibly, though Israel's continued settlement expansion would have undermined said peace process. That said there's plenty enough blame to go around on both sides for the continuing conflict, to be sure.
The PLO was never very efficient in running administration. Graft and corruption being the primary faults. Hamas seems relatively clear of this.

While I hope that's what happens here I'm far from optimistic on that. And if Hamas is instead rendered to weak to govern then it may be that the al Qaeda-types will gain control of Gaza - a decisive victory for the anti-peace elements in both Israel and Palestine.
Hamas is able to govern right now. Police man the streets, there's no looting to speak of, despite reports, food and water are still being distributed.
What Hamas can't do, is defeat Israel on the field of battle, even in territory it has controlled and prepared for battle for more than a year.
I'm rather optimistic, because it appears that Gaza Hamas is trying to reduce civilian casualties, and it appears the leadership in Gaza is ready to end the fighting. It's the exiled leadership, which doesn't actually have to deliver anything for its people that is delaying a cease fire.
Seeing those lovely women in their well cut low slung uniform pants, so obviously proud of their place in society, is very inspiring, my friend.
It is certainly a contrast to another utube video of Hammas' children, very young toddlers proudly marching around in suicide vests chanting how they will kill Jews because they are animals.
You elected a government that butchers civilians; should I consider you a threat, and kill you before you try to kill me and my family? If all Palestinians deserve to die because some elected Hamas, should I start hunting down, starving out, and threatening the Jews where I live, since they are all part of this barbaric 'group' which is filled with a hatred that would make Hitler blush? Sorry, man, I'm sure you feel justified to defend what your country does, you've been raised that way. Unfortunately, in this day and age, that shit don't wash. Right now, the US citizenry is just waking up to the horrors of what we have supported. AIPAC and Olmert can boast about owning the US government, that much is true. But I can assure you my friend, as you sit there with your hand out begging for more welfare from us, crying victim with hat in hand, we're not buying it. Sure, Israel tortures prisoners for us, and helps filter the drug trade from Afghanistan, but we have our limits. Israel has a right to exist, like I have a right to be a billionaire, as long as another billionaire keeps giving me money. You people are now putting all US citizens in danger, by using our weapons and money like homicidal maniacs. I don't want that rap on me.
at the moment Israeli terrorism is using phosphoric bombs to wipe and burn houses and families in Gaza,so far they killed 1000 Palesenians half of them are children,Israel is a terrorist state and we must stop our tax money to help them kill children, the US goverment help provide for israel more than its own citizens and yet they use all our money to murder children and people after stealing their land,Israel intentions have nothing to do with peace, and the people of palestine have the right to fight israeli terrorism and ocupation and these rights are protected under international laws.
In true irony, I know a couple of German guys, who every year travel to India, with the main purpose being to hook up with "Yummy Israeli Girls". For those not familiar with the backpacker circuit, Israelis are known for traveling in packs, always having good weed, hot women, and totally hassling the locals. My German friends never fail in their quest to hook up with Israeli girls, which, despite the irony historically, I actually found a very positive development. When I see Israelis on the road, I am reminded of the phrase 'my tax dollars at work'.
