    @Xanthro

    Xanthro: "Most of the people who state they are just disagreeing with Israeli policy are only doing so because Israel is Jewish."

    Really. Even here on Salon?

    And you know for sure that Gary Kamiya is doing this... how, exactly?

    Xanthro: "A large enough segment of Israeli society did not want a two State solution, that such an outcome was not possible. Now, a exceedingly large part of Israeli society, and Palestinian as well, support a two State solution."

    True, but I believe much if not most of that change has come about because substantial numbers of people on both sides have come to realize that that a two state solution is only way peace will come to Israel/Palestine save for a shared one state solution.

    Xanthro: "The PLO was never very efficient in running administration. Graft and corruption being the primary faults. Hamas seems relatively clear of this."

    Agreed. Which I believe is a major reason why Hamas was able to garner as much support as they have in the Palestinian territories. That, and the PA/Fatah have had so little to show for their diplomatic attempts and agreements with Israel.
