    Friends etc.

Time is precious, and I've been spending too much of it here lately. I thought that by presenting a pro-Israel, pro-West viewpoint I could make a small contribution to the public debate on a few important issues and influence people (mostly on the left in the US) who might in turn influence the incoming Obama administration, about whom some people were worried regarding Middle East policy.

It took me a while to understand the importance of Obama's appointments, and his recent statement on Iran. I am now much less worried about the future.

The anti-Israel, anti-West, lefty wacko, and neo-Nazi types who hang out on these boards are still not even close to having a voice in the US government. Their sole effect is to provide a few laughs (at their expense) to those of us who value life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

But there are better ways to be entertained.

And so, though I will miss the camraderie of a few of you, for now, I bid you all Lehitraot (so long), and most importantly, Shalom.
