This article which has caused so many comments is typical of stalin.com's ugly bias against Israel.
The first thing you learn in statistics and architecture is SCALE. What is the size of the thing we are discussing and how does it compare with evrything else around it?
Native American reservations make up 2.3% of the USA. Israel is a tiny speck, far less than .5% of the Middle East. You could fit over ten New Jerseys into the the land mass of our reservations and you could fit only one Israel, West Bank and all, into one single New Jersey.
Israel was born in the blood of its citizen soldiers and many of her civilians as Arab armies swarmed in after the UN approved partition in 1948.
Holocaust prevention included taking in and temporarily sheltering Bosnian Muslims when they were being slaughtered in large numbers under the watchful eyes of UN "Peace Keepers."
Israel was the first country in the ME to give all women, including Muslim women the vote. I thought they had that right in Lebanon for a very long time, but I guess not.
It boggles my mind the way leftists line up so passionately behind a culture which degrades women and cynically murders their own and others' children. It must be some kind of mental illness thing. Have they ever listened to Ayaan Hirsi Ali and others who have rejected this culture of endless hatreds, murder, squalor and death?
Is it that leftists are permanently mad at anything and everthing which cannot be crammed into their imaginary, "progressive," pipe dream world, and they embrace other militants who also passionately reject reality and who also insist on creating an impossible reality of their own?
Both leftoids and Islamic Fascists engage in a mad dance with suicide.

Skipping ahead a bit, the British, and the Belgians made a pretty good run at depopulating Africa. King Leopold made Hitler look like a pansy.
Then comes the 20th century with the oh so civilized Germans slaughtering tens of millions. Stalin, a Russian from the land of Doestoievski, did in 20 million or so Russians and of course ran the Gulags which enslaved millions more.
Mao, a Chinese at the apex of a 6000 year old "civilization" liquidated what, 39 million Chinese? Millions an millions more were tortured and enslaved in his "reeducation" camps.
After that came American hegemony, which resulted in the deaths of 3 million Vietnamese, 2 million Laotions and Cambodians, and more recently 2 million Iraqis due to the sanctions and then the most useless, stupid, pointless war in history (other than Granada and Panama (5000 dead) of course). Add to that another million or so in South America and around the world who were vaporized in various communist fighting adventures. Oh, and as Gary says, let not forget the Indians (remember them?). There used to be a LOT of Indians.
30 years ago, when I was winter camping in Northern Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, we came across an old hermit who excoriated us for chopping down a tree in "his" woods. He said that he knew that tree "personally". Then a young man, I wondered what it was that would drive a man into the north woods to live in a rude log cabin on the edge of a cliff on the edge of a continent.
Now I know. It was people. Someday, maybe soon, I am going back there and move into that cabin. If someone is living there, oh well, I am "only human" after all, so to hell with them, let them "go back where they came from".

In my 49 years of following this conflict and the 42 years since the 67 war, I have yet to hear an official position by any Israeli government official as to what they intend to do with the occupied territories. What is their long term plan for the west bank and Gaza?
After all this time, I do not think they intend to give it back. Why don't we just face the inevitable and move the Palestinians somewhere else. Such massive relocations have been done before, witness the Muslim of India going to Pakistan or the Poles moving east and then west again. Redrawing borders is the outcome of war. So let's be realistic and compensate the Palestinians. Everybody gets a check say for 10,000 US and a one way ticket to the country of their choice. The money spent would be cheaper in the long run and Israelis get to keep what they already have.
The problem with the US is that no politician wants to upset Jewish voters and donors, small but vocal minority.

As long as we have grandmas as wonderful as you, I won't be too scared. BTW, "Boobie" means 'Grandma' in Yiddish, one of the world's most colorful dialects. Mine was wonderful, she spoiled me rotten and excused all my many faults.
I know some Israelis, and if you knew more than three, you would not be asking that question.
If you had 12 Israeli's in a room and asked them about Israel's plan, they'd look at you like you wuz crazy, and then they'd proceed to argue with each other and with you, for a long time, and you'd come away with at least 7 different "plans" and at least 3 yelling that there could be no such thing as a plan.
I think if there is any common plan, it's to try to survive. Most would love to be able to peacefully live side by side with Palestinians both inside Israel and across a peaceful border.
