The image of Israel in the USA public as a benign democracy, surrounded by blood thirsty wild Arabs is probably the greatest hoax ever, brilliantly perpetuated by the relentless Israeli propaganda machine, aided by the laughably shallow and gullible US corporate owned media. A vhronicle of Israel's treatment of the Palestinians, from the massacres and ethnic cleansing of the 1948 war of independence and through the 41 years of occupation will easily reveal that Israel's conduct is much closer to the Waffen-SS and the notorious apartheid state security police, than to anything remotely acceptable in the West. The profound anti-Arab racism in Israel is also an unmentionable in the US. Of course, if the US public realized the depth of the Israeli racism, the explanation for the total disregard for the Gazan civilians in the current operation would become obvious. Just a small example:IDF soldiers manning the infamous West Bank check-points refer among themselves to the Arabs they process as "djukim", a Hebrew vernacular that means cockroaches.

The difference being that we don't demonize the natives and we don't engage in military operations against the natives and we treat the natives with respect and they are full citizens and they can travel wherever they want and own whatever they want and live their lives as they want.

Until this recent outrage, I thought Israel had a right to exist and most people still do think that. I am good with them staying, but only if they treat the Palestinians as neighbors and equals.

Go look at a map of Germany pre-WWI, then compare it to a map of Germany today. You'll notice the size of Germany is much smaller.

Those areas, where Germans lived for centuries, places like Silesia, Bohemia, the Sudetenland have no Germans in them any more, because after WWII, the MILLIONS of unarmed Germans living there for generations where thrown out of their homes, marched often without food and kicked out of their country. Tens of thousands died.

Imagine that Indian people were becoming the majority in America,that their objective (stated explicitly by their authorities) is America's elimination (and to send American people "to the sea") and home-made rockets were launched from Indian reservations (although they *only* kill dozens of people).

It is easy to have this moral rectitude when you are not living with the fear that a rocket destroys your house and your life or that your nation disappears in a few generations.

My point is that it's easy to pretend to have the moral high ground when one lives in a peaceful country. It's hypocritical to tell other people that they have to endure rocket attacks while the most dangerous thing one is willing to endure is that one's cup of Starbucks coffee spills on one's lap.

To the people that agree with this article, I recommend them to leave their homes and give them to Indian people. They were the originals inhabitants of this continent and America is created out of a genocide and the oppression of native people(like Israel, only much worse). So you must pay for the sins of your ancestors and you don't have any right to exist.
