    When the al Aqsa brigade was blowing up school buses in Jerusalem

    You'd think, based on Salon's columnists it happened on another planet. Two reasons for that 1) It was Israelis and 2) in many cases a goodly number of killed and maimed were Israeli Arabs and no one worries about Arab on Arab violence. So let's no try to fool one another with weepy handwringing about the violence perpetrated on children. Or at least qualify it please. "Some" children.
