Dude you are one very frightened man. You are so anxious that you are projecting attributes to her that exist only in your fantasies. You are attempting to transform her into a character that you find less threatening and familiar. Try to get hold of yourself and stop sharing so many secrets.
How else to get to grips with the Republican ticket?
1. I never said it was okay to attack urban liberals. BUT... the Republican party isn't trying to win over this group of voters. They know they don't agree on the issues and they don't trust the Republicans. It's complete BS, but it doesn't matter over the long haul in the election. Republicans aren't trying to persuade urban liberals of anything.
2. I never said I was going to vote McCain/Palin. I'm voting for Obama. It won't be because I like Obama, though, and the anti-Palin hysteria is one reason not to like or trust Obama's party. For other white, working class voters, voting for Obama on the issues requires that we believe him when he sets forth his policies and says "And these policies will help you." If Obama and his supporters talk out of both sides of their mouths, why should the demographic believe him on anything? If you say that white, working class voters are "chimps," or "idiots" who "bitterly cling to their religion and guns," why on earth should they believe when you say "Vote for us, because we want to help you! We value your vote!"
If you guys from the left keep doing all this good work for us, it really is going to be a McCain/Palin landslide in November.
As a democrat and a woman I am shocked and disgusted that Salon would allow an article so sexist as to call Sarah Palin a dominatrix. What's the matter Gary? You don't like women? You have your opinion about what she believes in, but using that term is like calling her the C-word. Use your words and stop the name calling, it just shows you've never grown up.
Please don't go there with Palin, Clinton, and God Especially McCain!!!!!
Stick to the issues..Palin is incompetent and inexperienced. Period!
Lets give Gary a break, and take some deep breaths.
If there isn't enough evidence already that Palin is being packaged by her party as a kind of "dominatrix" (doesn't it go without saying that that's a metaphor for God's sake?), check out this site the Republicans are touting:

Kamiya's article is both serious and funny commentary. Palin is serious business, but the Republicans are having a ball with her pitbull image. Without stooping to lying at all, dems can fight fire with fire.
I was appalled to see this article as Salon's headliner of the day.
I think the specter of Sarah Palin as VP is terrifying, but Gary Kamiya and Salon do the Democrats no favors with this sexist and shallow piece of questionable journalism.
There are plenty of reasons to believe that Palin and McCain are wrong for the U.S. Gary's probably even right that some voters will vote for her because she's attractive. But I read Salon for intelligent, thoughtful and informative writing. This pieces is none of those.
Please don't turn into the Fox News of the left.
Allow me to add my vote to the "what were you thinking?" column. Am I supposed to thank Salon for elevating the level of American political discourse? Many of us working to prevent Palin and McCain from being elected are involved because we are tired of the combination of inanity, surreality and fiction involved in politics. We want to figure out how to get a decent national health plan, but instead we feel like out-of-touch nerds when we dare to discuss details. How can we compete with a moose and a dominatrix? (Did I really just have to write that last sentence?) Many of Salon's articles seem to be descending into the realm of look-at-me pundit-hood. I can almost see the wisps of wasted dollars, brain cells, energy, ink and air time floating into the atmosphere.
Great article by Gary Kamiya! He has successfully assured a notable increase in votes for Sarah. The standard, liberal vitriol with the expected sexual innuendo will be received with disgust by conservatives and moderates as well. John McCain will likely win in November as a result of pundits like Gary who have no idea how to convey thoughts and ideas in a civil manner. All the images Gary paints of Palin are limited to his perverted imagination. Does he pant everytime he sees a professional woman in a pant suit? Does he apply his prejudice only to good looking conservative women? The left manages to find ways to object to anything that isn't labeled "liberal". Now they are offended by successful Sarah who has risen through the political ranks with dignity and honesty; total anathema to a good liberal.
As a conservative and in large agreement with the beliefs of Sarah Palin, our next V.P., I'm thrilled by the stupidity of Gary and his cohorts who are doing their part to promote the conservative cause. They simply can't control their emotions and anger, are incapable of addressing important issues rationally, and demonstrate an intolerance for anyone who expresses a faith in God and a respect for life. They also miss the obvious; such public exrpession will ultimately cause the fall of Barrack Obama. We simply couldn't do it without you. Thanks!
Please join me in sending an email to the editors condemning the sexism of this article and its accompanying image. Clearly, no one is paying attention to these letters sections anymore.
It's obvious that Governor Palin was chosen as the Republicans' VP candidate BECAUSE of her gender and her looks. Frankly, that's about all she has going for her. To accuse anyone of sexism regarding her is abusrd. The fantasy of SEX is her major political weapon.
You are a nasty, sexist misogynist! You have no respect for women. I hope you get lots of complaints from democrats and republicans. Your reputation is tarnished with this editorial.
Matthews and Olberman brutally attacked and tore down Hillary Clinton and now they are OFF MSNBC. You are doing the same thing to Sara Palin and it makes many of your readers very angry. What is the matter with you chauvinistic jerks? does a strong, intelligent, experienced woman make you feel so insecure; you feel a need to use your journalism to bash her with name calling and put downs? Shame on you!
