I guess I have to be careful here. But WTF were the editors thinking letting this thing get published, much less the Mad Magazine/frat-boy-with-PhotoShop illustration? I have no doubt the author had fun writing it, and I even enjoyed a paragraph or two. But the whole point of it (IMHO -- and I understand opinion pieces) was obfuscated by the juvenile tone.
Very bad taste, and whomever said it's exactly what the Repub's will point to as Palin-bashing is exactly right. I expect more from this site. There's enough crap like this on the minor-league sites.
