I disagree with Sarah Palin on just about everything, but she's earned the right to her own opinions. She smart, she's politically savvy, she successfully juggles her career and her kids, and apparently she can deliver one heck of a speech.
And Salon's response? Dolling her up to look like a dominatrix, because she's really still just a prop in male sexual fantasy. Where's the equivalent cartoon of Hilary Clinton? Obama the Muslim? McCain the craven and cowering POW? Biden the crazed soldier mowing down Iraqi civilians?
You don't have to like Palin, but you do have to respect her. And this picture (and presumably the accompanying article) does not.
