I certainly agree with the context of Mr. Kamiya’s article, as would any person who has studied the history of the United States, especially its covert and overt foreign policies of the past 50 years.
There is no Ronald Reagan America, except in celluloid and computer bits. The country has become so large in population, with so many different and battling niches, that it can never duplicate the patriotism that helped form this country almost 250 years ago. But those who would control, control with guilt, which was one of the founding philosophies of this country. We perform treasonous acts if we do not succumb to those who show us how to think, if we do not make their agenda ours. So sad that we waste our time with such trivialities. We are told to behold the glory of freedom while not ever having the chance to experience it.
