Who knew?
Who knew Gary Kamiya had poetry like this in his soul? This is a loving Jeremiad to both Beowulf and Tolkien, if also a damning indictment of Zemeckis.
I hope Salon has many more such elegant and fine works in the future - and that they leave it to Kamiya, and leave Andrew O'Hehir out of it.
