This is why impeachment is a must
As I posted this morning , this is exactly why impeachment is a must. There is a strong punitive element that runs through the American psyche in tandem with the "fearful, reflexive bellicosity" Kamiya writes about. Actions must have consequences, illegal or immoral actions must have punitive consequences. For the Democrats to not impeach now sets them up for another generation of "weak-kneed wimps" framing. It reinforces everything the Republicans have been saying about them since forever.
