    If I were conspiracy-minded ...

... I would be waiting for the FBI to conveniently discover a suicide note on the library computers they seized and are now examining' a suicide note that Ivins didn't compose on his own computer, didn't print, didn't send to anybody, and that can't be independently verified as being his, but which contains his full confession.

If I were conspiracy-minded, that is.

It's a sad thing that I have come to so distrust the government that I'm now willing to give credence to what some would consider "conspiracy theories." It's not like I think 9/11 was an inside job or that I believe the Illuminati secretly runs the government, but would I believe the FBI was capable of falsely manufacturing evidence after the fact to "prove" their case? Damn right I would.
