..what do you think about the coverage of the bloke who got lost in the Blue Mountains in Australia then?
Better still don't worry, he is yesterdays' news and we have all moved forward into the future of the glitzy 21st century where we will all now watch as the USA spends gazillions of dollars on once again GOING TO THE MOON...and then Mars.
then there is this happening here on planet earth,in the new, principled and enviormentally Obomber nation the USofA.
In a stunning blow to the U.S.'s environment, the Obama Administration just approved a clearcut of 382 acres of timber in a roadless area of Alaska's Tongass National Forest.
Obama needs to know the world agrees: Stop the clearcut! >>
The clearcut in the Tongass will involve building 6.9 miles of roads and rebuilding another 1.9 miles of old roads. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack put a temporary halt to timber sales in roadless areas of national forests -- but he approved this timber sale despite the concerns of people who care about this important temperate rainforest, home to numerous endangered species.
Vilack argues it'll provide much-needed jobs for the region -- but even in troubled economic times, we cannot sacrifice the future of our planet!
Urge President Obama to reverse this decision and ensure no more clearcutting and roadbuilding occurs in the Tongass >>

Your perception of time is matched only by your legendary comprehension of physics.
Trip itinerary: Pinkham Notch Camp to Mt. Washington summit, sprains his ankle on the way up, but doesn't turn back or modify his itinerary. Takes Gulfside trail from Summit towards Mt. Jefferson (had planned to go from there to Mt. Adams, Mt. Madison and then down). Leaves trail or descends on Six Husbands Trail down the back of Jefferson into the Great Gulf, not clear at which point exactly he leaves the established trail. Believe it or not, that in itself is considered reckless, or just negligent, under the circumstances. Spends two nights in the Gulf, where he wades across streams, builds fires with aerosol, tries to catch attention of helicopter, etc., etc. Then decides to go up to get out. By this time, he's been on the mountain 2 days, 2 nights and is starting his third day, the search party has been on the mountain either since the night he didn't come out or the next morning. Goes up to ridge. Spends night in rock "crevasse" which he built up with more rocks. Heads for Washington summit, is met by search party traveling on Sphinx trail near Mt. Clay.
His statement about heading for the Observatory was about where he was going when he heard the search party from 350 feet off the trail, having gone up above treeline again. My statement about him not seeking a ride or assistance was about the first time he passed the summit, which was after he sprained his ankle, and before he left the trail.
Now why don't you just cease and desist? You don't know squat about the region, you don't know the route he was taking (it's not an uncommon Summer climb), you don't know anything, but your right in there with the insults and the crazed theories.
post confirming links that he passed the Observatory having already sprained his ankle and tried to reach the Observatory again at a later stage.
And with regards physics keep your mouth shut. I told you yesterday where to go to find how a "physicist" has shown comprehensively how certain parties are guilty of ethics violations in an attempt to cover up a crime. Let me make this very clear. We are not having a reasonable argument between honourable men who might agree to disagree. I and increasing numbers of others are trying to expose a crime. You and others are trying to make sure that crime remains covered.
