Bullshit. You are not seriously telling me that you think this puppet of a general beat the Taliban and proves that the USA did not invade Afghanistan. Surely you are not trying that track.
The one man did not trump the USA air power, CIA secret army, and military special forces. Why do you continually bring up minutia when the big picture is right in front of your nose.
By the way, did poppy production go up or down after the USA install a puppet government?
Oh, and have you engaged Justin Raimondo yet? I have not had time today to read his post and look at comments. (a somewhat new feature over there)
lol, I love when you make stuff up about me. Why do I need Warcraft when I have you?
It could be worse. Instead of living with in my dad whom I love and respect's basement, which I don't do, I could have run off to kill for the Empire, and my dad could have alienated himself from the entire family. You know, doing stuff and stuff. Like you.
Stupid is as stupid does. How is the three front war you are defending going? Doing well? Paying for itself?
Do the dead write you letters thanking you for your "oh so intelligent" murders?
Do you also believe that only American medicine, paid for by taxes on the poor, produces results? There was never chance that vaccines could have come into existence unless the American, paid for by the poor, medical research establishment did it?
Just wondering your position on that.
I just got here. I was doing business. But it doesn't matter. Iraq we could leave, aside from any remaining obligations under Geneva, most of which we could probably take care of, if there are any more, from afar.
These guys don't see leaving Afghanistan as a good idea,

I wonder why that is? Do donor nations engage in world wide conspiracies on behalf of the MIC and against libertarians? Do they believe that they are supporting raining bombs by supporting civilian infrastructure creation projects?
If they only had the wisdom of a guy like you, hunh. They could have saved themselves all that money and energy by just volunteering for Ron Paul.

You seem to think you hit some kind of zinger with these attacks on my son. You've made them a few times now. But he's 18, he went his own way and took responsibility for himself. You obviously couldn't say the same.

???? Mohammed Daud died in 1978. I can see your studies were indeed profound.
No time tonight to look up a better source, but this will do:
NBC News reported in May 2002 that a formal National Security Presidential Directive submitted two days before September 11, 2001 had outlined essentially the same war plan that the White House, the CIA and the Pentagon put into action after the Sept. 11 attacks. The plan dealt with all aspects of a war against al-Qaida, ranging from diplomatic initiatives to military operations in Afghanistan, including outlines to persuade Afghanistan’s Taliban government to turn al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden over to the United States, with provisions to use military force if it refused.[28]
Odd timing is it not? But the important part is that the so-called diplomatic negotiations were already planed out to be just for show. Afghanistan was toast even before 9-11 and it was American Power that was going to do it. Proxy armies of locals to do the dying is always nice, if they obey orders.
a fictional and over-simplified worldview that you cling to much in the same way that a hardcore religious fanatic subscribes to their own
It's the fear of doubt, Eris. People who have an understanding of the world informed by actual experience are unthreatened by opposing viewpoints, and so don't react with such anger and hatred.
People who rely on blind faith for their views, though - the religious fanatic, the hardcore True Believer - have the most to lose if challenged, and so will lash out if you say anything that contradicts their views.
Needless to say, you're not going to make any progress in debate with that sort...
Oh yes, it is so complex. Keep pimping the war while simultaneously ending torture, torture rooster. You still refuse to acknowledge those people our say how you would feel and what you would perceive in a similar situation. Typical since the Golden Rule takes a big fat dump on all this humanitarian Af-Pak newspeak gobbledygook.
Empire without torture, that sounds plausible, about as plausible as Empire without police state, but why stop there? Why not stop killing and rape and crime and pain period? We can make rules and sign treaties and stuff. Soldiers can fight it out on World of Warcraft.
You obviously couldn't say the same.
I know, I went to college instead of going off to murder, although I was given the opportunity. Neither of you obviously couldn't say the same.
What are you talking about?
General H.E. Mohammed Daud Daud, (also known as General Daud and Mohammed Daud) (born 1 January 1969, in Takhar, Afghanistan) is the current Deputy Interior Minister for Counter Narcotics in Afghanistan.[1] General Daud is the former military commander of the Northern Alliance[2], which spearheaded the defeat of the Taliban. He studied engineering in college.[3] After graduating college he joined the war against the Soviet Union.[4] He fought as a general for the Northern Alliance against the Taliban.[5] General Daud was an aide to the famous Ahmad Shah Massoud. Ahmad Shah Massoud was given the title "Hero of the Afghan Nation" by President Karzai.[6] General Daud commanded a 40,000 man Army who fought against the Taliban.[7] General Daud is the former commander of the Konduz Military Corps in Afghanistan.[8]
You really are not as well versed as you try to make out are you? Well, this Mohammed Daud was in fact a "player" and is still very much alive. He is the top counter-narcotics official in the Afghan government as I write this.
My earlier comment still goes. Can you not read that military experts world wide have talked about the USA led invasion of Afghanistan that was, in fact, a cake walk.
You are a hoot, but you know that don't ya?
