I basically, reiterated your logic. Your rationale for giving Gaza to Israel is that Gazans can't go to the West Bank because Israel won't let them.

You're thinking off the top of your head. The idea itself makes no sense. Israel doesn't even want Gaza and they would never trade it for Jerusalem. The actual trade that some Israelis have put forth is to trade parts of the israeli-settled West Bank for parts of East jerusalem. And that idea, in itself is a horrendous deal, for Palestinians. No Israeli or Palestinian has ever averred that Gaza be traded for Jerusalem. Its simply ludicrous.

It scares me that the political left takes on the animus of the Palestinian cause (there is a romantic nature about it), without ever addressing the underlying problem. The Palestinian will NEVER get a state unless and until its supporters are as critical of it, as Isreal's supports are of it's policies.

Fair enough. But 2 things must be accepted:

(1) Part of Glenn's beat is the half-assed debate in the US about Israel's policies. Talk all you want about Israeli democracy---you won't find it here in the US. And that's a problem.

(2) The Palestinians will NEVER criticize their leaders, let alone their state, until it gets one. As long as they have no responsibilities and no power, Hamas will run on opposition to Israel and will win. Why not leave them alone, and allow a normal political climate to develop?

Of course shooter is a cowardly keyboard warrior, promoting policies that increase the likelihood of dead Americans, but don't worry, if the United States ever gets attacked again by terrorists that were radicalized by US support for Israel, Shooter will be in here telling everyone how it is all Glenn Greenwald's fault.

Baldie...you cannot demand that anyone make unilateral concessions without sitting down and negotiating. Then there is nothing to negotiate. Israel has the land. It is willing to exchange it for peace, true peace. If that is unacceptable, Israel has no choice but to maintain the occupation. No reasonable person would demand otherwise. If Israel is not willing to do at the negotiating table what it has said it would do, that is another issue altogether.

And to the idiot who said Israel started the Six Day War in 1965, tell me how what happened in 1965 caused Egypt to order the UN to dismantle border truce stations, mobilize its army and move it to the border and blockade Israel's ports in 1967.

When was the last time you or Glenn encouraged the Palestinians to oust Hamas?
When was the last time you pointed out that the Egyptians want nothing to do with Palestinians?
Have you or Glenn advocated that Palestinians surrender and recognize Israel's right to exist?
Have you or Glenn denounced Palestinian aggression regarding suicide and rocket bombings past the pro forma?
Have you acknowledged those are the reasons Palestinians aren't allowed to travel?
Have you or Glenn recommended other Arab countries that got land in the same process as Israel take in the Palestinians?

Not that I've seen. What I see are constant rationalizations why Palestinians are right to rebel. In short, you and Glenn enable war.
