    Thanks for that quote, heru-ur.

    I have no doubt Mr Roy has the right of it. When Mr Bush was long ago quoted as saying "they hate us for our freedom" (or words to that effect) my first thought was, well, that's the truth.

    He just declined to identify the "they" in question.

    Mr Roy has provided the answer.
