surprisingly obama has taken a more moderate stance as it relates to iran and their nuclear weapon capability. by some estimates iran is just months away from completing its first nuclear weapon.

no one can argue that iran has been the primary provider of funds for hamas, hezbollah and most of the world's terrorists.

since iran has proven their missiles capable of delivering warheads to Israel and beyond, obama SHOULD BE scared of a radical muslim leadership in iran that is irrational and totally out of control.

unfortunately the U.S. has publicly tried to stop Israel from bombing the underground iranian nuclear manufacturing plants and unfortunately we declined to give Israel the bombs capable of going deep underground to take them out.

to negotiate with madmen gets us nowhere; iran, with russia's help, is not going to stop the manufacture of nuclear weapons, period. for the U.S. to take the position of using our depleted intelligence community to deal with iran's nuclear plants is a joke.

Thank GOD Netanyahu will ignore obama and use Mossad and other groups within Israel to take out the plants in the next few months. my hope is that they do it by January 20 but Olmert is such a wus i doubt it.

I don’t understand how one’s partisanship can override the obligation ensure that we (as a people of laws) through our representatives (including Barack Obama) insist on enforcing US and international laws that have been broken.

All I can think- when a president does not aggressively enforce important laws (like the Constitution~ see the broad based surveillance of American’s phone calls and e-mails, and the Geneva Conventions~ see our torture of uncharged suspects)- is that the only reason that can possibly be proffered for not enforcing such laws is that he wants to violate the same laws, commit the same crimes.
