As I said last month: Obama is being, or about to be, run like any other asset of the same NSA-type fiends who've been jacking us to hell with myths of mass destruction, and sticking us with the bill, for god knows how long now.
And as I said in February, 2008: Obama is ringing the same ol' cracked bell of American liberty.
ALAN WATTS: But nevertheless the imagery affects us because the image of the monotheistic god of the West is political. The title King of Kings and Lord of Lords is the title of the emperors of ancient Persia. The image of god is based on: the pharaohs; the great rulers of the Chaldeans; and the Kings of Persia. And so this is the political governor and lord of the universe, who keeps order and who rules it, from, metaphorically speaking, above. So anyone who would say, I am god, is therefore implying that he's in charge of everything that he knows all about it and therefore everybody else ought to bow down and worship him. But in India if you say, I am god, they say, Congratulations, at last you've found out. Because the image is quite different. Making a false god of "The Great Father in Washington" and then using the power of myth to "put the fear of god into them" is what we do. Ah, but ain't that America? Our business model is plantation. Our PR strategy is that of the Nazis.
SEN. ROBERT BYRD: My hands tremble, but my heart still throbs. I read this quote: “Naturally, the common people don’t want war. But after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship. The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.” Hermann Goering, president of Reichstag, Nazi Parliament, 1934.
