    who wants to understand why the American Left (including much of the Democratic Party) can't be trusted to deal with countries such as Iran only has to look at what's happened since Obama was elected.

    I'm talking about Obama's staff choices and policy pronouncements. Obama fooled the entire American Left by saying what they wanted to hear. All you gotta do is re-read Glenn Greenwald's latest whines (this one and the one about Obama's new centrism), substituting "Iran" for "Obama", and you'll see what I mean.

    Now honestly, who wants a real Left-y to negotiate with Ahmadinejad?
