"Even for secular Israelis the idea of surrendering the historic center of Jerusalem to Arab rule was simply unthinkable. In order to defuse the strategic threat posed by the Palestinian claim to Jerusalem, the Israelis needed to stage a controlled scenario in which they would appear as peacemakers while Arafat would be bound by his own rhetoric to refuse their generous offer of a state. There could be no better master of ceremonies for such a demonstration than Bill Clinton, the American president who brought Arafat and Rabin together in 1993 on the White House lawn. By this account, at least, reports of Barak's unfriendly behavior at Camp David can be explained by the fact that the Israeli prime minister was hoping that his peace proposal would fail.

Many Israelis dismiss the idea that Barak's offer to Arafat at Camp David was part of any master plan. Still, the implication is worth considering: the prime minister of Israel used an American president to knowingly create a huge diplomatic failure that damaged the international prestige of the United States in order to extricate his country from the consequences of Oslo."

There must be peace. There must be a partner for peace.

And blowing the fuck out of Palestinian children guarantees no partners.

It's almost as if there is a conspiracy to perpetuate war. Like what Mussolini said some 90 years ago about endless war.

that the Samouni Clan in Gaza has been largely liquidated by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in what appears to have been a deliberate massacre.

The video at the Telegraph is one that has been shown on Al Jazeera in the context of rescue of several child survivors from the site of a series of houses that collapsed during the Israeli attack on Gaza City.

But according to the Telegraph,

...after the Israeli army first took the town on Saturday night soldiers had ordered about 100 members of the clan to gather in a single house owned by Wael Samouni around dawn on Sunday.

At 6.35am on Monday the house was repeatedly shelled with appalling loss of civilian life.

A handful of survivors, some wounded, others carrying dead or dying infants, made it on foot to Gaza's main north-south road before they were given lifts to hospital. Three small children were buried in Gaza City that afternoon.

According to the survivors between 60 and 70 family members had been killed by shrapnel and falling masonry.

Convoys of ambulances twice headed to the area to look for wounded but they were driven back by Israeli shooting.

The Israelis no doubt have their innocent reasons for exterminating these Palestinian civilians, just as they will assert their innocent intent in shelling UN facilities and aid convoys and constantly interfering with the Red Cross and Red Crescent.

War, you see, is about killing people and breaking things, and so, the liquidation of the Samouni Clan is simply a matter of War-Carried-Out.

Raise your youth to worship death and tutor them in suicide slaughter of innocents.

I presume that here you are speaking about the text of Judges 13-16 when you speak of teaching your youth to worship death and glory in suicide slaughter of innocents. In particular you must be thinking of Judges 16:30: "So those he killed at his death were more than those he had killed during his life."

Hey, WHY not give such a sewage dwelling cult a state?

They already have. It's called Israel.

"A tape recording of radio exchanges between soldiers shows what unfolded with Iman walked towards an army post. The soldiers at least 100 yards from any soldier and, while a bomb is always feared in such situations, no one described her as a threat. She was identified as a “girl of about 10″ who was “scared to death.” Worse yet, the soldiers describe her as heading east - away from the army post and toward the refugee camp when she was shot. Captain R had to leave the post and pursue the girl to shoot her and later “confirm the kill” after emptying his magazine into the child."

Today Dennis Kucinich made a 1 minute address to Congress stating that the bombing of Gaza by Israel using weapons paid for by US taxpayers is in direct violation of the Arms Export Control Act. The weapons were specifically not to be used for escalation or aggression.

It's time U.S. military aid to Israel came to an end.

YES! Hamas, Che Baby, must be wiped out to the point that it'll take the sewage dwellers 50-years to rebuild. Then, do it again.

"In contrast, Palestinian children are taught to hate the Jews (not just Israelis) and peace is just harder to accomplish when public opinion wants to kill every last Israeli."

Trust me, Palestinians have no need to teach their children to hate Jews, the Israelis take on that task with gusto. There have been a dozen or so such offensives since 2008. Their legitimacy doesn't matter to a scared child huddled in their room, disfigured or maimed, or losing a family member or their entire family, or watching their neighborhood decimated. They will grow up hating Israel [the 'Jews' in your simplistic formulation, since Israel claims it does these things on behalf of Jews worldwide].

You must be able to understand this. You would feel the same thing even if you grew up in the most evil place on earth. These children have done nothing to deserve this, that's the only thing they understand.

If you can afford to fire precision missiles from multi million dollar jets to kill individual Hamas leaders, and can afford to fire mortars from tanks at individual UN relief worker truck drivers, you have way too much money. How about giving some it back from where it came. The US could use the dollars if Obama's update on the future of the American economy is even close to accurate.
