Discussing Israel/Gaza on right-wing talk radio

I had an unexpectedly substantive discussion of the Middle East and the "Islamic threat" on "The Hugh Hewitt Show" last night.

    @ Paul in KY

Derbig Mooser is worse than a bore, she's unfunny. Her lame Yiddishkeit betrays deep-seated rage, so there's little point in engaging a raving loon. If she wants to transfer all her anger at Israel on me, that's fine with me. But I haven't made 90% of the points she's arguing with, I've repeatedly stated support for the two state solution, support for the right of Palestine to exist, and support for international intervention to stop the current violence.

Israel's actions today in terms of the school bombing are outrageous. It is unclear how anything they're doing is coherent or justified at this point, and the international community must get involved.

I know, this makes me a crazy Zionist, what with my acknowledgments of Israel's right to exist, right to respond to mortar fire, and the fact that anti-Semitism still exists in this world. I'm crazzzy!

But since some on this board are calling Glenn out for having the temerity to acknowledge Israel's right to exist, it's clear that loons are not in short supply.

For the Israel haters, nothing Israel will ever do will be good enough. That's generally why Israelis tune those who just want to "help" them completely out. It'll never be enough.
