    What a strange and insecure concept of "masculinity" you cling to. -- GlennGreenwald

    The most "masculine" act I ever saw happened back during the Vietnam war. A monk poured gasoline on himself and burned himself to death; thereby protesting the US dropping napalm from the sky onto women and children.

    I have always wondered at the courage that man had: I look forward to death as anyone of my beliefs would, but I really, really hate pain. That monk puts to lie all the old "macho man" myths of all cultures. Well, at least in my book he did.
