    Good interview!

    All the alternate history stuff that focuses on Hitler should also be confronted with Stalin too.

    And there is one good that came out of World War II and that is the end of European colonial empires. If Great Britain was not going to let India go in 1933, why wasn't the world acting against Great Britain? If you believe "Late Victorian Holocausts" by Mike Davis, considering Great Britain to be civilized is a bit of a stretch.

    I mean, to me, if the choice was between Hitler and WW II which actually happened versus a hypothetical another twenty five years of British rule over India, I would choose the former always.
