    Partisanship

    You're right, doctorscience, that the Village doesn't like or support any political parties. Their true loyalty is to the incumbency party. Anyone outside of that is the enemy. They always protect the incumbent.

    Well, almost always. Eliot Spitzer is an exception to the rule.
