Eric Holder, Jack Quinn and the Rich pardon

It's premature to criticize Obama for his establishment-soothing appointments. But it's just as premature to heap praise on him for those appointments.

    Tainted cast...

Having this cast of characters, all with little twists of "not perfect" in their history, would probably make it easier to keep control over -- with that knowing look that Mom used so well.

If needed, a stern pep talk could bring them in line.

If Obama HAS a plan, laying that out with strong expectation of cooperation, like Dad used to, they could be good servants.

Many of the comments here were so very good, thank you all.

These people know that this administration is going down in history, they should feel inclined personally AND politically to do a good job.

We, the people have already changed...we will not for a minute sit back for "business as usual".

I think these failings in his appointees will be exactly the leverage he needs.

At least they have intelligence, so they can adapt to the new rules. "Go, and sin no more" for the next 4 years. Heck anybody can follow the rules if the whole country is watching and we are.

We have to expect success in going forward...because we are at the bottom.
