    Yeah, I know.

    But I'm of the opinion that it's still a good idea to properly insist.

    I also think that it's imperative to raise public awareness of the baseline fact that TV simply isn't up to the job of doing news journalism- so that even if people do watch, at least they won't be under any illusions that they're getting anything but the sketchiest outline of news events, or history.

    Unfortunately, television holds the pronounced advantage that it's able to simply spoon-feed its audience- as opposed to text forms, which involve the work of the "news consumer" actually having to read with a high level of comprehension and attention to detail.
