He was the Seventh Son!
lyrics here:
http://www.mathematik.uni-ulm.de/paul/lyrics/johnnyrivers/sevent~1.html
"I can talk these words that will sound so sweet
They will even make your little heart skip a beat
Heal the sick, raise the dead
Make the little girls talk outta their heads
I'm the one, oh
I'm the one
I'm the one, I'm the one
The one they call the seventh son"
I'm not sure if I 'trust' him, yet, but sure as the cock crows I plan to verify every thing every morning. One is such a lonely number!
bah.
o bop. '...in the garden of thy heart, plant naught but the rose of love.'
They could smear Paul Wolfowitz, and help drive him out of the utterly corrupt World Bank, which he was trying to clean up, trying to make alla dose overpaid bureaucrats actually take responsibility for all the "loans" (free money) ending up in the hands of corrupt government elites.
Why did they smear him? Well, this unmarried guy had the temerity to have a girlfriend who worked at the World Bank. This American Jew was enjoying a real loving relationship with an Egyptian woman who did not work directly for him. The NYT helped to hound him out of there, and not a peep from stalin.com.
And, when Clinton was revealed to not be having real affairs of the heart, but the kind of abusive sexual demands we passed so many laws to prevent, we also heard not a peep from Glen Greenberg and the NYT, who defended Bubba to the max. So, Glen and all you good libral-pwogwessive twits found no problem with Billy Clinton's predatory behavior toward women, but Paul Wolfowitz had to go, right?
Yup, dat's right, my frems!
And why did Paul W bodder you guyz so?
Well, he is one of them there ebil neocons, that's what he is.
He does not sing from the pee cee hymnal. No kumbaya for him, just hard headed facts and demands for accountability and actual results that work.
Now the NYT is trying to do the same kind of smear job on Vaclav Klaus, the Czech President, and, again, not a peep from Gelding Glenn or Phony Joanie. Well, Klaus thinks much of this manmade global warming stuff is a sham, and dat puts a target over his heart in libral circles.
----------------
Also, embedded in this rubbish about unlearned lessons, thee's the utter kluelessness and denial of the libral-pwogwessive mind when it comes to dealing effectively with the terrorist scum who feel so entitled to indiscriminately murder innocent civilians.
Don't you remember the lovely of Danny Pearl who was forced to say "I am a Jew," and his screams of agony, just as his head was being chopped from his torso?
Why can't you people grow up, for crying out loud?
This is the real reason why "liberal" has become a dirty word among so many voters. You guys are utter Ostriches when it comes to how to effectively counter criminals, thugs, bullies, rogue states and terrorist networks.
You are utterly KLUELESS,
You know it too, but how to square your gooey libral philosophy with the hard headed truths of power, consequences, merit and responsibility?
Harrowing gories of Nam bombs in plaster casts worries..
Why not a black eyed peas with mustard green stories?
Offer a green onion bouquet. A mango a day keeps the Witch
Doctor away. Which doctor from a medic-aid list to enlist?
Ten names..but all not the sames. Feets sleeps and pinch
Nerves. Foot nag arches. Least not lame. Shiney a shiney mango
With clean sleeves. Mangos makes a Candy Man hush cos the
Mango Man can. He mixes the world and makes the love taste
Good.
Please, take your masturbatory fantasies elsewhere. We have enough, thank you.

Here's Bill Kristol (via Think Progress) advocating for pardons on behalf of those who committed war crimes:
One last thing: Bush should consider pardoning–and should at least be vociferously praising–everyone who served in good faith in the war on terror, but whose deeds may now be susceptible to demagogic or politically inspired prosecution by some seeking to score political points. The lawyers can work out if such general or specific preemptive pardons are possible; it may be that the best Bush can or should do is to warn publicly against any such harassment or prosecution. But the idea is this: The CIA agents who waterboarded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and the NSA officials who listened in on phone calls from Pakistan, should not have to worry about legal bills or public defamation. In fact, Bush might want to give some of these public servants the Medal of Freedom at the same time he bestows the honor on Generals Petraeus and Odierno. They deserve it.
No comment from me. Just wanted to pass it along.

Not sure I understood your point on this one, Bharat-Rakshak is an Indian military afficianado site, from what it looks like. Was there something specific I was to look at there?
Why is it that you won't try to engage in rational discussion rather than just spewing? Are you unable?
Nothing in particular. Just windows on the ineptness of the state, the legal system, the media, the security forces, the common people, etc., etc. etc. :)
when americans feel disgust and hostility toward the bush administration, it is OK. this is all part of democracy and freedom of speech. and it the case of the bush admin, in particular, it is simply common-sense. but when the leader of another country does it, he is a dictator and is mentally unstable.
give chavez a break. he says what we all say. but for the establishment, status-quo obsessed editorial boards, this means he is dangerous and crazy.

Even when government officials purposely subject an innocent person to brutal torture, they enjoy full immunity.
