    strange double-standard

    when americans feel disgust and hostility toward the bush administration, it is OK. this is all part of democracy and freedom of speech. and it the case of the bush admin, in particular, it is simply common-sense. but when the leader of another country does it, he is a dictator and is mentally unstable.

    give chavez a break. he says what we all say. but for the establishment, status-quo obsessed editorial boards, this means he is dangerous and crazy.
