CNN is reporting that Janet Napolitano will be Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. If she can't be AG, this is a good place for her to serve.
I await her first meeting with Lieberman's committee. I hope she brings her skewers, to skewer the, um, skewersome Lieberman.
Hope that made sense. If not, shishkabobs for everyone!
Say nothing.
Don't even even even, ever ever doubt the flop is a sic-germ that's vile, corrosive, and ill-tainted slime.

Foolish Timothy: I hadn't realized we'd warped back to 1977. (my Millennium Falcon, aka the Ford Falcon, is in the shop--and my mechanic, Obi Wan, charges an arm, a leg, and one of those magical light sticks which cuts through butter like butter)
Cab Driver do not allow another to break your balls ..is GC your agent, your pupper master?/..

My god, I really am a devil. (And I know this because I promised [kinda] bystander that I would cease and desist)
I know I'm late to the party, but I also have to agree with those who find Holder's work for Chiquita problematic. I find it hard to believe that anyone who cares about the rights of laborers of all nationalities and who want to correct the abuses of unrestricted international free trade would not at least be given pause by the choice of association. As zeroworker notably pointed out, it's not as if the act of declining Chiquita as a client would prevent them from retaining other lawyers, so it's not as if Holder's choice was a matter of ensuring Chiquita's rights. I think it's been well argued that there's an injustice at hand in denying a client because of their onerous (alleged?) deeds that doesn't apply as strictly when the client has a broad range of choices of representation.
It's not really so much a matter of guilt by association as a questionable use of time for someone who is concerned with public service or dedicated to social justice. It's a matter of opportunity cost. Granted, I'm not expecting that concern or that dedication from ANY of Obama's cabinet appointments, but I'm certainly not going to be thrilled about them as long as that low expectation is met.
Of course if we're talking about questionable positions on free vs. fair trade and labor rights, the Senate really should pose no problems for Mr. Holder!
The stones what a band....
You know Black eye, black mail, blackballed, blacken fish, blackheads, black friday, blackout, Blackward( I made that one up) lol, lol, lol
. . . and rise to the nasty tied-fly that dance, lamely on the surface. And this one smells beacoup faux. Sewer soup indeed. Think Karl Rove rapping. Man, that image put my cats off their food for an entire week. The 1977 reference makes sense, but I'm thinking more of Starsky & Hutches' Huggy-bear rather than Starwars. Like Huggy on a really strung out day, caught in a time-warp in a really bad time. Like after flipping the bird at Mr. T, and being dumb enough to get caught. The references, the language, the total lack of cool make me believe we've got a one-handed typer here. The other rummaging around, well, you get the picture . . .
Yes, let's. Not.
I hate pity and excuses..Anyway..I like the AWB..watching white folks dance at holiday parties ( not any more with my vision issues) but that was a blast..lol,lol,lol

I promise (again) to avoid such entanglements.
It's just that Huggy Bear, well, is so rhetorically huggable. Still, I shall demonstrate the necessary fortitude to stop my nonsense (which means, get away from the computer and watch television).
I bet you destroy rythm..lol,lol,lol

Pedinska sleeps with the fishes tonight. She's got her tent all set up on a beach in the Keys and is presently fighting off an Attack of the Sand Crabs.
She has the sneakers and her fishnets and will serve breakfast promptly at daybreak (Oh dark early = dien cai dao). Her Voles are standing guard. Two on and two off with their little fingers wrapped around the clackers.
No word yet whether she's fallen into a latrine in the dark.
