Has there been too much bipartisanship or too little?

The reward Joe Lieberman will receive today is justified by the claimed need for more bipartisanship harmony. Is it even possible to have more than we have now?

Obama ran on Change - The Senate did not!

These senators are the members of the "we're in here for life" club, the gang who enabled FISA, a war in Iraq and the deregulation that has wrecked the world economy. What didn't happen to Lieberman today is a promise that it is business as usual. There will be no investigation of the abuses of the Bush administration because it would reveal the democrats collusion in all of it. There will be no rollback of FISA because once liberties have been taken away, no government and no president is ever going to give up the powers it gives them over the citizenry. It never happens.

Electing Barack Obama was a good thing, but if you think that it means that congress is going to change, you have to believe Washington is the same as Disney World.

We have only begun. There is a lot of work still to do! Corruption is a disease that has to be treated like cancer. Right now we are eaten up with it.
